Just had lunch with my partner. When ordering food was told 20/25 minute wait even though they were not busy. The food was fine but took at least double the time to arrive. If they were rushed off their feet, how long would the wait then be for food?
Very nice afternoon and all the staff apart from one were excellent. The team leader lady was not however. My elderly mother cannot sit comfortably on the wooden benches in the garden. When we asked if it was possible to take a chair outside we were refused.
Brilliant food in the Turnpike ... and covid compliant. Plus more economical and wide choice of drinks and food. Take a trip and find out how to welcome your patrons we old Anchor in hope, We'll done wetherspoons ... better value and service all round. You either have it or you don't
