Use to be alot better, since the refurb I personally think it's gone downhill a little bit. But still a nice fish shop to visit and plenty to choose from.

Desperate to give this M.A a 5 star review having read the others and seen their rating, but I can't. I am a long time customer of the brand, and have visited dozens of store (no exaggerations), and cannot for the life of me get along with the way they setup their news shops. The best way I can describe my gripe is that they appear to be marketing towards new and small time fish keepers. There are zero decent sized display tanks, zero large 'exciting' fish, the plant tanks are small and uninspiring and the dry goods cover a broad range but are limited in numbers. Once again, there was no greeting on arrival, no offer of help when I was browsing and no goodbye, despite three staff talking amongst themselves. Shame... so many better Maidenheads (cardiff is my fav).

Nice clean shop, clean tanks , impressed with freshwater shrimps but staff have no idea how to handle these invertibrates and have zero knowledge regarding them as a species.

Plenty of fish, and everything for your fish needs, not sure about anything fish related, experts on hand to help you out. Very friendly place, and fish in better conditions to other pet places.
