Will never eat out this place again. Had lemon chicken and fried rice. Chicken was old and smelled sour,didn’t think you could burn rice but they did. Saved it for the environmental health to analyse it.
Terrible service and even worst food. I would recommend this place. I found a few hairs in my rice which was cold and stale and the lady at reception was very rude when I asked for a fresh rice. I was told that they don’t do refunds.. so I was left hungry for the night! Criminal!
Average food. High price £10 for fried rice takeaway?. Customer reception is quite elementary. I'd only come here if other Chinese restaurants were closedFood: 2/5
I would never go there again the food is of a exermely poor standard and the customer service is terrible.
Highly recommend! This our local Chinese takeaway and were thankful when these owners took over. The restaurant is very clean looking and the food is really tasty and not greasy. We order regularly and would definitely recommend.
Hofan is dried fry and then added meet with sauce on top, this is the version, the opposite of dry fried ho fan Ho fan is very fresh, the sweet and sour pork on the other hand, is either deep fried a few times or overcook. I would say the chief is capable of cooking good dishes but if they can improve the quality, I would give 5. This restaurant also has very competitive price and hence the 4 stars despite I do think the sweet and sour pork is not freshly prepared.
We really like ordering from here, their food is a really good standard classic Chinese take away. We love the salt and pepper squid, lemon chicken, the ribs, lovely crispy duck . Always quickly delivered and piping hot when it arrives! It also comes with fortune cookies, which is a nice extra.
Having lived in East Acton for many years, I first tried Magic Wok late last year and was pleasantly surprised. I’m often disappointed with most Chinese takeaway joints in the UK as both the flavour and quality are really poor. Magic Wok has better flavour and quality than most. The chefs and staff are really friendly and will accommodate to your requirements. I love the hot and sour soup, peking pork spare ribs and fish fragrant eggplant - always without MSG. Note: They are closed on Tuesdays
The chicken and black bean sauce is excellent, chicken melts in the mouth. Perfect cooking.Only my opinion.
Really good and affordable place. I love grabbing it few times a week after work. Also everything is prepared quite quickly and you can jump to Iceland in the meantime. I strongly suggest it for anyone who enjoys Asian food.
