Went mid afternoon for an early dinner. Not cheap, especially as to get variety you have to order sharing-sized servings. A beer, two mains and some rice were very tasty. Cumin lamb was good, not as fiery as I’m used to. Fish Fragrant Aubergine with minced Pork was also *very* tasty. Very good, quality ingredients. Fast service, ‘efficient’ servers! Probably would be better when busy and with a group to share and explore the menu. Seems like the real thing but lamb had no promised Sichuan peppercorn. I asked before ordering but maybe got lost in translation.
This is rapidly becoming a favourite restaurant of mine. It is reasonably priced and offers a very wide range of tasty food - it's Sichuan, so it's really spicy though they can tone it down when asked. Service is very friendly, I found. I love their noodles, and I would cross London and do! for their bitter melon you love it or hate it! with pork. I hope to become a regular customer in the future.
Great food, good service, fast serving and good portion sizes. Favourite Sichuan restaurant in London and one of the best Chinese restaurant in London. We had 3 dishes today and cost about £57.Food: 4/5
I didn’t like the starters - prawn toast wasn’t the traditional triangle shape but rather looked like garlic bread, taste was ok. The fried dumplings were bland. The mains are good, really liked the braised beef with bean curd, super tender. Overall the dining atmosphere was good, staffs were quite attentive to pour our tea for us. Plenty vegetarian options and we were told we could ask to take out meat from dishes as well.
Incredible sichuan food, with a wide variety of tasty dishes ranging from familiar staples like Crispy Duck to more exotic fayre like Spicy Pigs Knuckle or Chicken in a Pile of Chillies exactly what it says on the tin. You won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is buzzing, bustling and fun, whilst the waiters are all very friendly, attentive and welcoming. In particular, the lovely Leslie makes regulars and newcomers alike feel very special, working hard to make one feel at home. We always have a great time at this restaurant, and thoroughly recommend a visit.
One of my favourite restaurants in London and I've been to many. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. The hotpot maocai is absolutely delicious. Be warned though, it is very spicy, like most of the food here.Food: 5/5
First time here and the food was amazingly delicious. Not overseasoned or anything. Well done. The duck was juicy and tasted superb. The noodles we had blew us away with the flavor. We was so impressed with the dedication and the professionalism of the staff. They were very attentive to the needs of the customer and made sure that my wife's teapot was refilled. We enjoyed dining here and hoping to come back here on our next visit to London. Highly recommended.
A Chinese friend brought me here recommending this place as authentic. Food was delicious, home cook vibe, big flavours and good portions! Sichuan dishes, many of them are pleasently hot! My favourite were the cold chicken starter and the pork with cabbage. The location is also great; service is friendly, the atmosphere is average.
The staff here were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, bu they do have some spicy dishes. The egg fried rice and noodles were both great. The beef stew was a bit spicy but delicious nonetheless. The star of the meal was definitely the duck though. The veggies and dumplings were also great to have in the side. The dessert wasn’t to my taste palate. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.
I really enjoyed the food. Proper shizuan. Good value for money. Very kind staff . The only thing is the fact they bring normal plates to serve rice and not bowls which is a bit weird. Overall great experience Food: 5/5
