Happen to come upon this Chinese restaurant which I have noticed in the past but never ate there. So today we thought we would give it a try. Definitely didn’t expect it to be as nice as it was. We had a few dishes. One of which wasn’t in the menu and they made for us. The food was delicious and the service was great from Alex. I can’t wait to revisit it again soon. Yummy
Last night was an absolute treat. It was my first time dining at the old street Chinese restaurant- but believe me it won’t be my last! I celebrated my 31st birthday with 9 of my closest friends. We tried a large selection of all kinds of meats, stews and fried delights and vegetables- some of the highlights for me included the chicken, the fried prawns, the stewed prawns, the prawn toast and the fried rice. The drinks selection featured a number of authentic Chinese beers and I had a few too many. Mixed in with your typical soft drink classics of cola and sprite you’ll be well looked after. The service for the staff was outstanding and allowed us to bring a birthday cake into the venue. We left with our belly’s stuffed and our wallets still abundant - Thank you for a unforgettable evening and see you soon
I’m impressed by the food. The menu has a wide range and includes some authentic dishes which you rarely see in other restaurants. The food are tasty and I really enjoyed the spicy sour green bean noodles. However, like other reviewers said, the dishes came in small portion which made the meal expensive. Staff are friendly and the restaurant is busy with take away orders since we entered
Absolutely loved the food. The staff were so helpful and nice when serving us.Food: 5/5
This is so bad. I ordered a spicy boiling fish and it turns out to be not spicy at all. When it arrives on the table, the colour is already not right. It’s tasteless and what’s more disgusting, there’s a very thick layer of oil that’s like reused or stale oil, you can smell it/taste it. The soup based is just MERELY OIL if u taste it. I felt like I was only eating oil+salt. I then told the waitress about it and she said it is normal because they will pour oil over the fish when it’s done in a very bad attitude. It’s not my first time eating Chinese food and I’m an Asian. I clearly know how this dish taste or look. I’m not feeling well for the whole night because of the food. Please provide at least some quality, people paid for your food. The customer service is very bad as well. DO NOT RECOMMEND TO COME!!!!!!!
We were starving yesterday night, and before the show, the noodles were delicious, and with warm services, thanks a lot.Food: 5/5
Outstanding range of excellent Chinese food. I really love the rabbit dishes, the cold starters and the pigs intestines. Great if you want to try more regional Chinese dishes that don’t feature in traditional British Cantonese style Chinese restaurantsFood: 5/5
The food was to salty. We had the kong pao chicken and the black pepper beef. The chicken was really salty and the amount of spice they put was a bit too much for us, it felt like we were just eating star anise/ Szechuan pepper straight. The black pepper beef was okay the meat was tender but it was a bit too salty. Unfortunately , it was not a cheap meal for the amount you pay.
Great hot pot, it is done all you can eat buffet style with you choosing how much of each option you want. Come hungry as the portion sizes were massive! The spicy hot pot was particularly tasty and we enjoyed the sauce section. The staff were attentive.Food: 5/5
Ordered takeaway via Deliveroo. All food were very tasty! Will visit in person when got a chance.Food: 5/5
