Very authentic taste, love the dishes we ordered. Would definitely come again! Probably one of the best Chinese restaurants I've been in London so far. The restaurant really gave me the vibe similar in China, hearing the old music in the background was quite lovely, very nostalgic. The staff are friendly and it felt very relaxing eating in the restaurant.
I very rarely leave reviews for restaurants, but this is the exception! Simply, the best Chinese food I've ever had in my 24 years I've been alive. The Sichuan cuisine is to die for and might just vaporize the average white person. It would be a disservice to write this place off. Please come here and give business to the owners!
I was staying close by in the Premier Inn and needed to find a place for my evening meal. I stumbled upon Yipin and wasn't disappointed. It was really quiet, which is exactly what I needed and the food was delicious I ordered sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice, as I stick to certain foods. It was really fresh and no cutlery here, just good old chopsticks which I enjoyed eating my meal with. Highly recommend this place.
I lived and worked in China for three years and feel I can claim to have a reasonably extensive experience of Chinese food. This restaurant is the first that I have eaten in outside of China that comes close to delicious authentic Chinese cuisine, it is simply brilliant. The premises is modest but correct and the atmosphere nothing extraordinary......but it is the food that is special.
Food : delicious Chinese cuisine, you can ask the restaurant to make dishes less spicy. I like the seaweed rib soup. Karaoke: the best karaoke restaurant room in central London, it's an ensuite! good sound system, spacious, minimum £390 for the room + food. The room can keep 20 people I suggest 15 people will feel more comfortable.
Completely empty when we came… and soon we knew it is empty for a reason… had many many Xiang and Sichuan dishes and this one is really really really average… the spicy chicken was verrrrry dried, chili overcooked with many burnt to dark color not appetising at all… the stir fried port with chili uses very thick pork not authentic at all …. The tofu was very greasy…maybe it had it’s time I can tell you in 2024 please avoid this place… won’t come again.
Absolutely delicious food. Would highly recommend the dry wok cauliflower and shrimp rice. Really succulent and well seasoned, and huge portions meaning good value for money Great options for vegetarian diners as well as lots of meat and fish. Lovely staff. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
Normally we get takeaway from here which is always exceptional but today we decided to take our toddler and dine in. Her first Chinese. Service and food were both amazing. Shout out to Eric, who was super attentive and lovely. Needless to say, our toddler loved it. Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating to our two year old
I was recommended Yippin through word of mouth and was not left disappointed. Every dish was bursting with flavour, with no overwhelming spiciness. If you're new to mainland Chinese cuisine you're sure to discover some new and exciting tastes. Perfect for group meals so you can order for variety and share. They also have private rooms for group bookings. Staff were friendly and the pricing very reasonable.
Had a casual lunch and really enjoyed the food. Don't be put off by the lack of décor! Everything was really well executed and had a note of quality about it. Lot's of regional options as well as the classics. I'd definitely go again. Service was warm and friendly.
