Had a brilliant night @ Maggies. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Really cool atmosphere downstairs, with excellent music. We arrived early, i would recommend to do the same as it gets very busy. We will definitely be coming back. Keep up the good work guys. :
Being in London it's easy to want to never go to the same place twice. But for my friends and I, Maggie's is the one exception. Not only is the music amazing, but the staff are all very professional, kind and overall just great people. Once you're downstairs the atmosphere is amazing and the bartenders are great. Some of my best nights have been here and I could not recommend more!
Went once had a lot of fun. Brought my friends who were visiting from the states and they turned us away because we did not have a reservation. Normally I would understand this, but we called hours prior to arriving to ask how much £ to get in and no one mentioned reservations being needed. They also said it was free before 10:00pm. Very upset because I thought this was such a great place when I first came.
Far too crowded. Paying £20 entry and queuing to just spend the whole night making way for people trying to find their friends. There was barely room to move. I went with a group of 8 girls and we found the crowd was very male dominated. There were a few good songs to dance to, but far too many slow songs. To top it all off, £16 for two bottles of beer.
Normally brilliant and fun music from the 80’s, excellent to dance to. This evening we endured an hour of songs from the 80’s that were more suited to a Sunday morning coffee shop than a dance floor. Hopefully their last DJ will be back soon.
We have been with 8 girls to this club and they make you pay £20 as if they are a very exclusive club but what you get is a small, sweaty club with just weird man around you. The amount of people they let in is ridiculous compared to the size of the club and everything is overpriced! The music is very cheesy and basic, wouldn’t recommend if you prefer not to get pushed by random drunk people all night and acting exclusive!
If you want a guaranteed good night out, Maggie’s is the place to go. Really friendly and attentive staff, brilliant music and original experience. Unashamedly 80s - so much fun!
Expensive. Not sure whether to call it overpriced or not. If myself and the friend I was with hadn’t been out on St Paddy’s looking for a bit of a dance in the early hours and fairly deep into a night out we wouldn’t have entertained the insane entrance price at 1am of 25 quid a head, so that’s sort of on me. The decor is cool from the pics but honestly it’s so dark and fairly cramped when it’s busy in there you don’t really get the same vibe. The club online and it’s decor gives the impression that it’s pretty funky and attracts a varied fun crowd which is what we were after. It is however on Fulham road, very expensive, quite small and therefore I got the vibe of being at some sort of gilet convention. Again, if i’d read between the lines of it’s price, it’s location and it’s name/the abundance of thatcher related decoration i’d have sort of been able to guess what I was getting myself in for. The music was pretty decent, but yeah it’s not the sort of place i’d go again, but that’s just me. This isn’t some damning review of oh it was so awful it just wasn’t really my thing.
overpriced. i was pushed by a staff member in the club. I understand that you are just trying to pass by the crowd, but don't put your whole hand on someone else's bare back without consent. That's very rude and triggering.
What’s not to love? Great music, great drinks, great atmosphere. The staff were fantastic. Already looking forward to the next visit!
