The Clapham Grand is an excellent venue with a vibrant atmosphere and top-notch entertainment. The staff were incredibly efficient and friendly, making sure everything ran smoothly. The decor is beautiful and the space is well-maintained. A perfect spot for a fun and stress-free evening. Highly recommended!
This venue offers a generally good experience with a few notable highlights and some room for improvement. One of the best features is the availability of free parking spaces just a 6-minute walk away, free after 4 pm, which is incredibly convenient. Before the show, there's a good bar right in front of the venue where you can enjoy a drink. However, be aware that once the show starts, you won't be allowed to leave and re-enter. Unfortunately, the night we attended, there was no air conditioning, which was a significant downside. As the show went on and people began dancing, the heat became quite uncomfortable. Despite this, the overall atmosphere and amenities make it a decent choice for a night out, provided the temperature issues are addressed in the future..
Went for the monthly comedy night with Simon Amstall headlining, really good atmosphere, sat right at the back of the middle balcony and could see fine, toilets clean. Drinks are pricy so top up at the pub before hand. Friendly security
Had a great time at 80s Vs 90s Massaoke. Only took a star off because the drinks are VERY expensive! £6 for a 330ml can of beer seems a lot to me. Apart from that though, had a brilliant time. Great location right next to the station.
I attended an event at Clapham Grand called "Femme on Top" and had an amazing experience! The venue itself is stunning with its grand architecture and spacious layout. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, ensuring that everything ran smoothly throughout the event. The sound and lighting systems were top-notch, creating an immersive atmosphere for the performances and displaying balloons everywhere. The cloakrooms are electronically secured, they took a picture of me to register the owner and send me a SMS to my phone with the code so you make sure you will not lose the number ticket. Overall, a fantastic venue for any event, whether it's a concert, party, or corporate gathering. Highly recommended!
We went to see Mamma Mia Sing Along Movie and it was absolutely fantastic. The venue is huge but it was well organized and all staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't really know what to expect but it was way better than I imagined : However we agreed that the point which needs improvement is the service at the bar which could be more attentive and friendly. We'll definitely be coming back soon. :
Had a fab time at seated event with Lucinda Light from #mafsau! Such a great place for an intimate event like this. Friendly staff and quick bar service too.
Seating places especially from first floor can be tricky. Small and tight spaces to seat. The black lines on the photos are bars in front of the seats. Depending on your height you might not be able to see the whole stages. Comedians were fantastic and funny. Some were philosophically good. We enjoyed our time there. The var serves good varieties of drinks and fast food. Toilets are on the top floor and be prepared to queue for a long time
Friendly accommodating Staff great atmosphere. We visited the grand for the England Euros game and I had to get in touch with a last minute accessibility request. The team were responsive via email and the staff on site were friendly and made the night really easy for myself and my group. The venue had great atmosphere and the bars were well staffed. They set up separate tables dotted through the venue helped the queues at the main bars. The security was polite and kept control of the event even though it was very busy. I would recommend coming here to watch the England games in future as we have been to multiple of these events now and it has never failed us.
we attended the HSM Brunch Party on Saturday and all we can say is WOW! we had the most amazing time, all the staff were so friendly and helpful. massive well done to the actors on stage for making a fun filled afternoon creating lots of memories with our childhood film!!
