This place is awesome. We enjoyed it . A good place to drink, dance and to spend time with Friends and family. It is a Cuban style clubs. The staff is friendly. A beautiful terrace for sitting and smoking.
I have been several times and I am very satisfied! Everyone smiles at you, the DJ was amazing! The drink is prepared at a high level! And it looks the best! I'm planning to throw a bigger party at Embargo!
I went to this club last Friday night and I can honestly say it was the worst experience of my life in London so far. First of the entry was £15 and the inside was dead as of 1am ish. Then we had a problem with one of the securities regarding our coat. The lady was really obnoxious and treated us like we were just bunch of drunk people. When I tried to give my coat to the coat room the person who worked there tried to extort more money from us by implying my 1 piece coat was actually 2 pieces never in my entire life any coat room employee considered it as 2 piece. However, there were some positives too. The bar stuff was really nice and cheerful. When we left the club the night manager I assumed refunded us. So overall, I wouldn't really recommend anyone to come here I wish to see people who have been nice to us to work in a better club.
So we found this fabulous club in Chelsea and was so happy we decided to go in. Perfect size venue, not too big and not too small - easy to get around, beautiful people as you'd expect from Chelsea. Terrace bit was really cool as you get a chance to chat and mingle etc. If you want a great night out - I highly recommend this gaff.Service: 5/5
Great looking venue all round with a decent atmosphere and crowd - even if they are very young looking, but more on that further down - but suffers from having one the worst sound systems I've ever heard, especially if you consider what the average price for a drink is you wonder why they don't spend all that profit from booze on fitting the place out with a good sound system. If you're a regular expect to suffer severe hearing issues guaranteed after too many visits. Security, well same thing as most people have already remarked about. Overzealous jobsworths running some crazy facial identification gadget that you have stand and be photographed in front of while they scan your own identification, that you will be asked for multiple times despite that at least 3/4's of the crowd inside look like they're not even legal drinking age especially the very young looking women, and then once the venue shuts down the bouncers will actually follow you out into the street well away from the venue and try to keep shooing you along and acting like they're actual police until you're being driven away in your taxi. Thankfully not my usual kind of style 'club' and I feel no need to ever go back there again.
My server Lukas was the most hospitable nightclub server I have ever met. The man genuinely made my evening so much better than I could have ever thought it could be. Marcinn his brother I think was also an absolute legend and humoured my friends and I every request even when it was above and beyond what he needed to do. In all one of my favourite club nights in some time and all down to the hard working and incredibly kind staff. Find some more of these guys please!
I’ve been in Embargo few times. It’s a Lovely place in Chelsea. Great decor and dancing area. I love the fact there is a smoking terrace where you can smoke or just sit down and have a drink- as there is another bar so no need to go downstairs to grab one. Staff is very friendly, doormen, waitresses and bartenders. Drinks are well presented and taste so delicious. Music is always good. Very positive vibes from staff- especially bartenders. Definitely will come back soon. Definitely recommend this place

Working on a private event in Embargo Republica is nothing but pleasure in a pure form! There has been no wish from our side that Shane and the team were not willing or able to make for us! Everything, from honest pricing, through the whole event identity, was taken care of, while upholding the highest class in industry. I would definitely recommend booking this place to anyone who would like their event to be truly special
Heard really good things about this place so I decided to take my girlfriend for her birthday. Location was great and the environment was nice although the crowd was a bit younger than expected! The gent working on the terrace bar was super helpful and polite as were the majority of the staff except the young brunette lady working bottle service. We arrived very early so took a seat for a minute before being abruptly interrupted mid conversation and told to move. The woman didn't offer us any service, more so assumed that we would not be paying for a table and didn't even give us the opportunity to purchase, the manner in which she spoke to us was very condescending and patronising. Would have loved to spend the rest of our night and money there but felt offended to the point we took our money elsewhere. Would hope to see better service should we return in future!
