Awesome Chocolate Shop! Really good range of high quality chocolate, and friendly staff. A lot of the chocolate that they offer is Organic, and tastes way better than a lot of 'high quality' chocolate that you can get in supermarkets. Some Pretty funky flavour combinations too, that surprisingly work really well!!
The chocolate truffles in the heart shaped box for Valentine's Day were received with a huge smile by my good friends who recently got engaged, however, the quality of the chocolate does not really match the price you pay for the box. It felt like I paid for a very nice packaging with nothing but poor content inside. My friends were excited to try British chocolate however, it is no match to Swiss or French. I 'treated' myself to Montezuma's Eton Mess chocolate, as that is one of my all time favourite desserts. The chocolate bar which said it's milk chocolate is most definitely darker chocolate and it leaves you with a very bitter after taste which I absolutely hated. I did not eat more than a quarter of the bar and threw it away with huge disappointment. Nothing really about this place which could make me return or recommend this shop. Two stars for the lovely girl who did her best to assist me and all other customers 3 more! who came at the same time in the shop on a Friday evening at 5 pm. The place looked understaffed however, she did a great job making everyone feel welcome. Thank you.
Best selection of 100% cocoa chocolates £2.59 for 100g. These have no added sugar or sweeteners. The store is quite pricey overall but there's a good selection of truffles, chocolate bars, and other treats. The staff is super friendly and always happy to help. They've recently moved outside the market to Brushfield Street on the site that was previously Verde.
Great selection of original flavours and perfect cocoa blends. The packages make perfect gifts for any occasion Father's Day Truffle Collection is my present for Dad this year and all their bars and nibbles are the best way to indulge my always chocolate-craving self.
Cute little chocolate shop. They have some great selections here and will often let you sample the daily special! The staff is incredibly patient as well, explaining the differences in the chocolate, why you should care, and figuring out what will be best for you.
Loved the place and ambience! Cakes are really amazing. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Took my wife on her birthday and asked staff to make something special with all different cakes and she did a very good job. Must visit.
I've just purchased and tasted Montezuma's, 'absolute black, orange and cocoa nibs dark chocolate. I have to say, it's the most vile piece of chocolate I have ever tasted in my 40 years of living. Wow. Tastes like dirt and has the consistentcy of sludge. Rancid. I'm shocked it's being sold. Sorry, it's harsh but damn.
Montezuma chocolate is one of my favourite brands, and coming to this store always feels like a real treat to me. It's not super luxurious, expensive or pretentious; just really good, basic chocolate for when you want something a little more discerning than a Dairy Milk! The staff are lovely, extremely willing to help and as a bonus, are not stingy with samples. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area and lusting over all the irresistible chocolatey things!
I and my daughter was surprised seeing the shop and we had to go in and purchase some vegan chocolate. The assistant was super friendly . We will be back.
A great selection of classic and more exotic flavours of chocolate including Eton Mess, Mango lime & Chillie to name but a few. The chocolate always taste fantastic, and I can't help but get a new bar every week to keep in my desk...
