Had a fabulous time in London and the hotel helped massively. Not only were the staff lovely, friendly and welcoming but they were helpful and patient. The food was fabulous with cooked pastries that came out every now and then and they were gorgeous Loved Elmo a friendly face and lovely personality Couldn’t thank the team for such a lovely experience. As for those who left a bit of an unfortunate review especially when it came to the food it was mentioned with in the hotel information. The A/C didn’t work but the hotel did its best to keep the rooms as cool as possible. Thank you so much my place hotel for being such a fabulous stay! See you again!
Avoid this place at all costs! It is NOT worth it. AC doesn't work in any of the rooms and the building is old and run down, everything is broken - even the door locks. If you're extra unlucky you'll get a room facing the street, in that case, wish your sleep goodbye because the noise is unbearable. Absolute torture trying to sleep. The staff is unprofessional and the so called "included continental breakfast" is practically just bread and water you have to pay extra for eggs etc. Absolute joke of a place, only thing redeeming about it is the location, very close to shops and the station. Walking distance to the Stamford Bridge. If you want to stay in this area, pick another hotel as this is undoubtedly the worst of the bunch. Rooms: Terrible, everything broken and old. Door locks don't work half the time. Food & drinks: A joke, eggs not included in breakfast.
It was one of the worst hotel experiences in my life. The price was not cheap at all compared to others, so I expected something enjoyable. The first problem arose when I searched for the socket and couldn't find it. When I called, they came, and guess what! It was in front of the mirror How was I supposed to find it? And guess what? I had to pay for a connector for my devices! And guess where it was located? Opposite to the bed! I had to use the laptop charger to connect my laptop to reach my bed and then to connect from the laptop to my phone! The breakfast was another disappointment! Coffee with cold milk! No other options; cornflakes with cold milk, Nescafe with cold milk, and that's it. And guess what? They asked about croissants, and they were the worst I've ever tasted. They were old and reheated, and it seemed like they were bought from a supermarket or something like that... Moreover, there were no fruits or cheese...!!! Do not try this hotel!! Note: You need to pay £6 for an adapter to connect to your charger in this hotel.
Horrible spring bed mattress, need to pay extra for a real breakfast upgrade, and need to pay extra for good Wi-Fi. The worst hotel I've stayed at in Britain. It's 3:40 am, the first night, and I'm considering checking into a different hotel because I have difficulties staying asleep here. Also, the windows are noisy... I can hear cars despite earplugs ... Noteworthy details: Horrible mattress
Manager is rude and discriminating. Hotel is in disrepair and the manager accused us of being too fat to use the toilet after the cheap seat broke. He then asked us to leave, late at night, with no alternative accomodation to go to. Very unsafe behavior and the discrimination will be escalated. Video evidence has been taken to escalate this. Rooms: Poor quality Food & drinks: Horrific
Not quite as quaint as they make it sound on the website, my room was adequate but a little old. No coffee or kettle in the rooms which would be enough for me not to book this hotel again. They claim to provide a continental breakfast but toast and a single croissant do not constitute a continental breakfast. No fruit, cheese or anything. I suppose they are not particularly bothered about returning customers as most guests were tourists. I did like the staff though, that's why I upgraded the rating.
Was a perfect location to the tube and made it easy to move around the city. Rooms are basic but clean. I'd stay again.Rooms: 4/5
Our room was dirty. The A/C wasn't working and we weren't allowed to open our window. Couldn't sleep at night in this hot & stuffy room. The shower only had one setting, which was boiling hot. The mattress was really soiled black spots all over. We were told they would clarify it with the manager. Nothing happened. Even after demanding it a few times. From the breakfast there I got total constipation. No wonder, the coffee creamer expired 3 months ago and they only had toast and croissant. The room card never worked right and the WiFi was a total disappointment. Never again.
Brilliantly located around the corner from Earls Court Underground Station 30-second walk. Lovely garden area with lots of seating. The room was a disappointment, though. The bed was uncomfortable and noisy. Pillows weren't great. Woke up feeling really lethargic. TV was tiny. Taps ran at different temperatures. The toilet seat was loose. The shower was ok, but the bath was marked and was squeaky. The socket next to the bed was good. Overall, for one night it was acceptable and the location is great as mentioned. Continental breakfast is OK. Cooked breakfast is £13 extra! Walkability: 30 second walk from Earls Court Station
It’s scamming,we paid for breakfast and but it’s not full breakfast if you want full breakfast you have to pay. Very dirty flyers in my room made us entertained, bathroom looks fluffy dirty as FK. JUST DO NOT BOOK AT ANY COAST. Room is tiny, I hit my head accidentally to that wall in picture night time when I was going to toilet, floor is dirty Absolutely disgusting. That shower head has been used from Victoria decades till now I hope we don’t get bedbugs from this hotel .No ventilation in toilet there is but it’s blocked. No tea or kettle in room . They put instant coffee in an opened jar on table for breakfast god knows how dry was it.that shower head looks like horror movie.
