Never really had issues with the surgery until the last year or so. Spend days trying to get through. Constantly on hold and then getting cut off 20-30 minutes into any call. Even tried messaging the practice through their site so I’m not clogging up the phone line but that doesn’t get answered either. My wife is in a different surgery and the experience there is the total opposite. She gets a response for a start. Once this latest issue is resolved if it is ever sorted I will be looking to move
Unfortunately this practice is very poorly managed. I waited 45mins this morning for B12 injection and left without having it. No one could tell how much longer I needed to wait. So I'm activly seeking a new practice!
we all have to remember Covid has turned everything upside down I think all staff are definitely trying their best from a terrible world changing Covid it's been a nightmare for us all prayers for everyone who have lost family or friends
Mount Surgery has gone from being a reliable helpful practice to a complete shambles. You can't book an appointment by phone as no one answers, try booking in person and you get told they only accept phone bookings! There website you are directed to isn't working. How is anyone expected to get medical help when there is no where to go? Mount Surgery need to look at the process and procedures and realise its not fit for purpose. We've all had to change the way we work and operate through the pandemic, other surgeries seem to manage to adapt.
Made online request to see a doctor. Get a call back and told to go over minor injury for xray. Get to minor injury to be told 'sorry we don't xray coxyx anymore as if its broken nothing can be done' I only wanted pain relief. Minor injury could not prescribe anything stronger than paracetamol. Again a waste of time and something my gp could have sorted. Rang 111 as the surgery was closed by the time I got home. Waited 10 hours again only to be told go to a&e!
I want to thank each and every Doctor i have spoken to from Mount Surgery. You have been a big help to me and my family over the years. Thank you for all the help and quick responses. I am very greteful, Thank you.
Staff are helpful and supportive. Have always found Dr's to be attentive, professional, caring and reassuring.
Shocking service. This surgery is not fit for purpose anymore. I can never get through to them. I used their online service the day before yesterday, requested they email me back instead of calling as I work full time. Surprise surprise, they tried calling me today whilst I was in work and I missed their call and now I cannot get through to the surgery!
Receptionist are extremely rude I called on a monday to speak to doctor about pain I was having and doctor was really nice and spoke to the doctor where I was prescribed pain relief and anti inflammatory meds and stomach meds due to me suffering with IBS I was told to self certify for 5 days and phone call on the follow monday to get a sick paper if things still ain't right and that i would receive it straight away so Monday rolled around and I called receptionist that answered couldnt be bother to listen and just had attitude in her voice and bassically told me I'll have to wait untill tuesday for the note even tho I'm on my last day of self cert i was also trying to explain I couldnt take the meds prescribed to me as my stomach was in bits but she was so busy trying to get me off the phone so called again in the afternoon to double check then called again on tuesday morning to be told that they may not even call me back today aswell I explained to the receptionist that I have been in pain with my meds and shoulder for them to say they will call me back at some point and people who have sick notes are not priority I work for a living and this is causing enough stress not that I want to be on the sick but I got to give it time to heal and that I'm in pain she wasnt really listening I just hope to receive this phone call surely borderline medical neglect or something absulutly ridiculous 100% be asking where I can leave a complaint to I understand after the covid 19 era slot has happened but no need to show no respect or concern for the patient!!
Total was of time trying to call them to busy having tea and biscuits, the management should be dismissed. When seen by a doctor it was was excellent can't fault,just do not bother trying to phone
