This Doctors surgery is probably the best in Neath. This has been my Drs and my parents for over 60 years plus. Whilst things have changed there since covid like everywhere else has and the NHS is quite obviously struggling in Wales I still think the patients at Dyfed Road Surgery are lucky to be registered there.I have always found the receptionists there extremely helpful and knowledgeable and will go out of their way to help you when they can . They always try to get you appts quickly if you have an urgent medical need and always ring back with information when they say they will!
God help you if you are a woman with mental health issues. They will put all medical issues down to anxiety or hormones. Even the senior partner is dismissive. 2 years of the same health issues down to anxiety. Good luck complaining to the health board too. They are just as nonchalant.
Would like to say how helpful and proactive I find the staff especially the receptionists and Doctors at this surgery looking after my family. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Thank you for your continued care.
Excellent service at all times . I need blood testing every 3month for Lithium test . These tests have been ongoing since 1993 . I have been looked after by the nurses and Dr’s here . I Thank God for them .
Very good surgery, have been patient for 20 years. Of course there are problems getting an appointment sometimes, but this is a national problem, not individual surgeries.nI would like better interaction between the surgery and local pharmacies as getting repeat scripts sorted on time can be quite frustrating.
