I wanted to buy something nice and locally made for my sister's birthday. The website was out of date, but the staff were very helpful and helped me out on the phone. I got her a lovely green heart made of artisan glass and some sweet smelling White Musk. She said "Presents gorgeous.. Necklace unique and lovely! White musk fresh and sweet. Very happy"
We were greeted by a lovely friendly lady who gave us all the information we asked for plus a few more little tips which helped in making what turned out to be a really nice day.
Good place if your visiting to get local gifts.
Too small and hardly ever manned. Inside made in Cumbria hard to find and not friendly.

Translated by Google Maybe we caught the lady on the wrong foot. When we entered the store we were not greeted nor did we get the feeling that she wanted to help us when we were the only customers in the store. Only when it was clear that we actually wanted to book a B&B there did the lady become a little more open-minded. On the +side it says the recommended B&B was top notch. Original Vielleicht haben wir die Dame ja auf dem falschen Fuß erwischt. Als wir dem Laden betraten, wurden wir weder begrüßt noch hatten wir das Gefühl, dass sie uns helfen wollte, dabei waren wir die einzigen Kunden im Laden. Erst als klar war, dass wir tatsächlich dort ein B&B buchen wollten, wurde die Dame ein kleines bisschen aufgeschlossener. Auf der +Seite steht, dass das empfohlene B&B erstklassig war.
