Have been here just for drinks before but had food for the first time last night, I had the burger on special with a gluten free bun Quite a lot of the menu is suitable for gluten intolerance or adaptable The burger was really tasty and juicy and the bun was really good quality and texture, not too stodgy. The staff are lovely here too, really friendly and genuine. Will definitely be back for food again! Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free, veggie and vegan options.
The way I discovered this place was quite unusual, I was in the Arts bar in Hope St next door and they had a small outside area you can sit in. When I looked over the balcony I saw people drinking in this lovely garden opposite. So I went looking for it. Found the entrance in Maryland St. You would never know it was there from the outside. I believe it used to be a convent previously. Anyway it's a great place to have a pint and get a suntan at the same time in the summer. They even have a handy bar in the garden. Well worth a visit as there's not a lot of bars in Liverpool with a large garden like this place.
Unbelievable food, best chicken wings ever. Incredible location and the friendliest service. Not to be missed.Food: 5/5
Everything was amazing! The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful. The food and cocktails were delicious, I would recommend anyone coming to Liverpool to definitely give this place a try Food: 5/5
What a place! Gorgeous little place lovely ambience. Food is unbelievable, so tasty. Burgers were absolutely delicious. Desserts were amazing especially the brownie possibly the nicest brownie I've ever ate Lotus Sundae also amazing. Just a lovely evening was had. All the staff are lovely, so accommodating and approachable. Brilliant place brilliant service. Very reasonable price wise also for such nice food.
5* for everything, if I could rate it more, I would. I'm actually annoyed that I didn't take any photos as it was all amazing! Loved sitting out in the garden and was a glorious day, fact they grow own herbs and things is great touch. Food was stunning, and they have an uncomplicated menu, so you have a good selection but not too much that you have no idea what to get. The burgers are stunning, but the chips are my favourite! I have no idea what makes them so good, but they are!! Onion rings are insane! And it's a massive portion, so I ordered some for the table. I ate so much food I couldn't have dessert Also, I had a lemon beer, and I'm sold on it as the best thing ever!! Staff are super nice and friendly, will 100% go back
arrived here late on a Friday evening to grab dinner with a party of around 15 of us the kitchen was due to close but they did squeeze us in. the hostess was firm and efficient not overly friendly, and I opted for the sweetcorn chowder and coleslaw sides. The food did take some time to arrive however the soup was delicious very thick and creamy. I was less keen on a coleslaw sides which was rather bland. nice little venue. It was cute indoor small space and good value. forgot to take some photos
Had the classic burger, and it was good. Feel like the burger could do with a bit more seasoning. It came with rosemary chips, which were nice. Paid £12 for the burger, which I feel maybe it's slightly expensive as it wasn't too filling, but I left comfortable. Staff were nice and welcoming though.Food: 4/5
The garden area was lovely; inside the restaurant, it was too noisy for hearing-impaired people. The staff were friendly; the food was mediocre. £13 veggie burger with a small portion of sweet potato fries. It was great value for money, and the burger was cold. I didn't bother to complain. Booking required.Food: 3/5
This may have been the best burger I've had in my life! Outstanding food. The sweetcorn fritters were life affirming!!! Epic - we will be back!Food: 5/5
