For users it's probably great. Not so much for local residents who struggle to drive or park on the road whenever it's in use as the users don't respect anyone that lives in the locality. They increased the height of the nets to stop balls going into a main road, but now the nets are broken and falling down, they haven't repaired them. So probably 5 stars from users but less from the rest of us!
The place is nice, the carpark is very small and it can be difficult to find a space. There's 1 toilet outside and the lock was broken last weekend. The changing room is not the best as it's a toilet as well. Someone goes inside with a child and locks the door, you have to wait your turn. One side of the field has a place to sit. It's very helpful.
Madley Green is a small but lovely weekend kept area between Homerton and extends to Lee conservancy Rd . Hackney E9 Quite an area for dog walkers. Football training small children's play area and an open air static keep fit area, and apparatus. Under the bridges there is a skate boarding area. Take a look !! Enjoy
Fantastic facilities with two 4G football pitches as well as grass pitches. Great access, with car parking area. Good changing rooms with showers hot water, sometimes, often be good of GLL to have the facilities managed by a staff member on site at all times during the opening hours. As this isn’t the case throughout the weeks we have accessed the venue. Otherwise it’s a fantastic facilities.
Wet cold and windy but generally quiet.. and surprisingly mostly free of dog doodoo.
The lines definitely need repainting but the higher fences come in handy. Out of all the five a side pitches I've played these are the best ones by far.
Once I got training it was great. It is a boy and male-dominated area and they don't like to share with the female and non-binary population. Except for that it's great and Super5 is a great atmosphere. Super5 takes place on most nights and it's one of the reasons I stayed in football even if I can't train at the moment.
Went to watch Biswanath team win the Upazila Cup 2022 … absolutely wonderful game … Well done Boys & the runners up Beanibazar
It was good enough for me and family great day out
Visited the other day, good to see locals out enjoying the sun. Shame about the lady that felt the need to curl one out in the bushes.
