The lady who served me coffee and a cake to share was pleasant. Had to wait a while to be served though, could do with another staff member. Cosy seats to have a catch up with a friend.

Shocking customer service, stood waiting to be served for 10 minutes, chap in front orders hot food successfully I then ask for toast only to be told it was now after 11.30 and they will not be doing any hot food till 12.00 (waited over 10 minutes to be served) I kick myself for continuing with the coffees, should have walked out! How difficult is it to put bread into a toaster? They didn’t even have to butter it as you help yourself to that!!! No empathy from the person serving, could do with a course on customer service!!!!!! Needless to say we will never return

Lovely fresh baked cakes and good variety of food and drinks, but seriously need a change of staff only one lady with a pleasant attitude. The others so unwelcoming and omg the one waitress' face was enough to turn the milk sour, not happy in her job. Don't let the staff put you off though as food is lovely and the real looking fire in the dinning room section is welcoming on a day like today.

Great cakes, food can be expensive. A great little place located just outside Lichfield, a proper little gem. Many shops which offer unique gifts for various occasions. Mables is a great restaurant which has history. Food is seasonal I believe and is quite expensive, but the setting is worth it. Staff are friendly and has a feel of it is ran by a family. Highly recommend popping in.

Lovely cream tea today. Made very welcome, served very promptly and would definitely recommend
