Location is the first floor of the Old Corn Exchange. Very unusual layout, with a gallery floor. Food is good, no pretentions, and the price is ok. Would be better with a decent draft English beer. Went twice, the waiter messed the burger order up on the Saturday. Corrected it quickly, with apologies. Sunday lunch was good, except they don't do a decent selection of vegetables. Sunday service was good. Quite busy.

My 2nd disappointed visit. My first was a special occasion and both service and food were appalling. Tony emailed an apology and promised a voucher to recompense. Even after a reminder the voucher never arrived. However, I thought I would try again. Attempted to call for a coffee under the proviso that I would eat there if the service was appropriate. Unfortunately, after being seated, and then moved to a table whereby we were told by staff and Tony "that we had a better chance of being served" we waited 15minutes for our request for coffees to be acknowledged. 3 staff took a birthday cake to a large table, neither of them looked our way until we got up to leave. One waitress looked at us slightly sympathetically then shrugged. What a shame! An overinflated reputation that has proved to be misplaced in my case.

My partner booked for a Birthday breakfast on the 28th Feb '18 and was absolutely perfect. Eggs Benedict was completely on point and to top it off I got a Birthday Tiramasu! Staff and owner always checking to make sure all is good. Little things go far and this place shows that.

This is the second time I have been at lunch time and it's such a lovely place to eat. The staff are lovely and friendly, the food is also amazing and a fair price. The resturant is kept tidy and the decor is unique and refreshing. You can even have a view of the cathedral depending on where you decide to sit. Will definitely be going again
