I really like Lymington town , there's a great mix of national chain shops and boutique private owned shopsnHead down to the shoreline to discover the cobbled lanes with shops on. Then head down the the ship inn with views of the harbour for a nice bit of food and drinks.
serves the town centre of Lymington. hd hourly trains to Brockenhurst and the pier, use the other station for ferrys to the IOW
Called in to take some photo's ,a clean station , clean public loo ,chap selling tickets please dont make it machine only was friendly and helpfull . An old fashioned country station !! enjoy and use it before its taken away from you !!!
As the name implies, it serves the local town and area of Lymington. Does it's job decently well and was somewhat restored to its original condition of the Southern Railway which is nice.
Great station and town. Went to a barbers called Jack Rabbits who were far better than the London shops I'd been to. Awesome.
