Went here to have a minor procedure. Honestly it was so nice to go to a hospital that didn’t have that horrible ‘hospital smell’. The place felt clean and inviting and modern. It almost felt like it should belong in America. The signs were clear to read and the staff were very helpful and kind and compassionate. I’d be happy to be treated here again. So much better than the big general hospital in southampton!
I had to attend for an X-ray and was booked for an ultrasound in three week’s time. I was early for my appointment, but shown straight into a changing cubicle. My X-ray was done in no time and then I was told I could have an ultrasound straight away to save me having to return later. I thought that was very considerate. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. One of them told me how much she loves working there, which speaks for itself. Lymington New Forest Hospital is an absolute gem! We are so lucky to have this facility, and everyone I speak to about it agrees!
So impressed with my care and my daughters at this wonderful hospital. Mine was appointment based with orthopedics and my daughter was suffering terribly with an ear infection so needed to be seen quickly. The staff are amazing. Both of us were dealt with so efficiently despite the pressure they are under. Feel so grateful to have this hospital on our doorstep.
Just returned from having an endoscopy. The staff were lovely, cheerful, considerate and reassuring, and the ward was spotless. Apart from the procedure, which wasn't that bad at all to be honest even without sedation, it wasn't such an unpleasant afternoon despite all the "build up to the appointment!
Broke some fingers and went down to the emergency care department where I received absolutely amazing and cheerful care. I was triaged by a kind and funny nurse, seen by a lovely paramedic, x-rayed by a knowledgeable and friendly radiographer and then finished off with the paramedic who went through my X-rays with me and splinted my fingers, giving me advice on how to manage my fractures. Thank you so much for being our wonderful local hospital!! We are so lucky to have you
Once again wonderful service, kind and caring staff.,its even better now than it was a few years ago . My friend "partner" was seen to quickly, after he fell on the ice , sustaining a hip fracture as they were not quite so busy yesterday, though still busy . So much better than the large city hospitals at Bournemouth and Southampton. I am going to join the Friends of Lymington Hospital . They need support !
I had a cataract removed and a news lens put in wednesday 8th March .Today is the 9th .Still bit red and tender.I Can see better already .Only 24 hours later Thank you all concerned.
Our son has severe learning difficulties and complex needs so when we were referred to the hospital for him to have a CT scan we were obviously very apprehensive. My wife phoned radiology in advance and and spoke to Hannah to explain our sons needs, she liaised with the other staff in the department Lisa & others and when we arrived on the day reasonable adjustments had been made to accommodate our son which led to a very positive experience. As a side note I would like to suggest that the hospital looks into appointing some sort of learning disability contact as we have been doing this sort of thing for many years now and it can make a big difference.
They wouldn't help me because I was overseas when I got injured. I had a motorbike crash but I was in a place without a real hospital Indonesia one of the tiny tiny islands.. so I flew all the way back to England to see a doctor, only just to be turned away. Cant get a GP appointment for 3 weeks either. England has the worst medical system I've ever experienced..
Staff are fab. 5* for them. Car park requires coins for payment. There is no other option. I just went in and hoped I wouldn't get a fine I didn't. At least there seems to be a fair amount of space. System for seeing someone at the urgent treatment center is unclear - seems to involve standing around in the cold in a queue until sometime asks you if you have booked in yet.
