Being a small business owner I post hundreds if not thousands of parcels a year. To day I had a single letter to post and rather than use the on line booking I decided to use the Lymington post office for the first time. Well the Asian lady and I use the term lady loosely was extremely rude from the moment I stepped into the establishment. Other customers were dismayed at her attitude and sympathised with me When I eventually got to the counter she very slow on purpose and argumentive condescending rude ignorant and down right disrespect. She she should definitely not be in position of dealing with members of the public. Unfortunately I will never wish to return to this branch The one star rating is there because I cannot give a minus rating which this postoffice and its worker deserve
Very efficient, helpful friendly staff that are always on the ball with what ever is asked of them. Being a local I use the post office regularly so although I don't really , I'm treated like I know them. Generally leave on a high ,job done and smiling . They are very patient with the public even when it's gets busy and the public aren't so patient themselves.
A very useful Post Office, sadly let down by one miserable, rude lady staff member who makes the experience unpleasant. Such a shame.
Using the Post office counter service in Lymington is like going to the dentist. Something not to look forward to. The only difference is that our dentist is polite, courteous and helpful. Exactly the opposite to the staff at the post office. No wonder few use the post office now.
Wonderful, bright, clean, and thoughtfully set out. Plenty to look at if you are in a queue. Staff are friendly but they are also very efficient and knowledgeable regarding their services. Worth a queue just for a second class stamp.
Will not ever use this post office again. Staff incredibly rude and aggressive and unhelpful, horrible experience and not the first time this has happened.
The Post Office and shop counter staff are always patient, helpful and friendly - each customer is served as an individual, not just as the next in a queue. The Post Office queue does sometimes move slowly- this is because the staff take the time to make sure that their custommers are aware of any options on the service that they require and enable them to choose accordingly - surely this is to be commended, not critisised ?
Long que today just before lunch. Nearly always is here, however the lady behind the counter, on her own, working very hard is AMAZING!!! She is so knowledgeable, patient, kind and always happy! Even when individuals are rude to her. No excuse for rudeness!!! No matter how many Zoom calls you have booked in and haven't bothered to check the opening hours. Please be polite to the lady that works very hard here. A smile and a thank you go a long way!!!
Amazing experience and very helpful staff. I would recommend anyone to get their passports through this office. It is much, much easier than going through GOV UK, which is a nightmare. But best to go early in the morning to avoid the queues.
