Payed for parking at machine, £2, there for 1hr 49 mins. Left car park ,barrier lifted to allow us out ,today received a £100 PCN ,stating I had overstayed time period payed for?
Have had to change review! Yes used paybyphone app which is good, however paid for 2 hours on app and left in queue 12 minutes late and now have a £100 Penalty Charge Notice!!! With payments on machine inside a grace period is applied in order to leave the carpark as it's not always straight forward have to load car with family and have quews to exit. Never the less I have used here for years but on the back of this PNC I'll not use this car park for my business or pleasure again. Can't believe no grace period provided in such a busy car park, if you leave just over the paid time expect a PCN...... Guess the owners and operators don't want you to have a nice day after all :
WARNING! This place is run by a fraudulent company. It will charge you a hefty fine even if you follow the process, pay and leave within 5 minutes of payment. There is a phone number on website but no one answered after trying 20+ times. Emails are replied by auto reply using a standard template. Not sure how coventry city Council is allowing such fraudulent activity. Very disappointed.
Without doubt the worst carpark and customer service I have ever had the misfortune of using. Poor signage to advise that your car is impounded after 7pm. We visited the CITY for a show and ended up stranded at 11pm in the freezing cold over an hour away from home. Contacted the customer service number the next day and was told that new signs had been put up in the last year, but there’s still other poor reviews within the last 6months proving it’s not been dealt with properly. Very ignorant lady on the phone obviously likes her little bit of power.
Spacious carpark but the smell from the extraction fan above the market is disgusting and in the hot weather we've just had it was really bad the council or health authority should do something about it
The security man was very kind when we didn't realise the closing time! I called the number on Google, he answered straight away and let us in to take our car out of the locked car park. Made what could have been an unpleasant or costly mistake really easy. Sorry and thank you!
Car gets locked at 7pm and is not properly displayed. You will get your car locked overnight if you get later that this. I would better get a parking fine than ever parking here. On top of that there is a 20£ ticket at least waiting for you in the morning
Super close to the city centre, lots of parking space and reasonable prices. Very clean too.
What a bad experience! And unkind Security Staff!!! My Car locked for whole night, got 5 children with me and devastated situation after I left my flat key in the car and security man didn’t allow even to take flat key from car. They don’t have any sense of human. I am requesting to managers to review their policy of the car park and suggesting if people running late to fine and allow to take their valuables from the carkeys Also they have to write clearly and visible warnings during their closing time specially bank holidays. I hate this parking and I will not park again if they do not amend their policy and procedures of car park.
Me and my partner got our car locked in overnight but it was our own fault as we didn’t read the signage. The security staff were kind enough to let us get a couple of essential items from the car. Really nice guys and went out of their way to help. A big thank you.
