Looked for somewhere to stay as a group of 23 families and young kids and Claire was super helpful in helping us arrange our stay. The views were stunning. Our pitch was in the top field and it was so lovely and quiet with plenty of room for everyone. It was so safe that the kids could play safely without us worrying about them. Showers were basic but did the job and everything was very clean. We live locally and will be back. Thank you for having us!
Very nice location. Very reasonably priced, there are showers and toilets that are cleaned daily and it’s a short walk to the beach. The site is on a steep hill so I would recommend putting something to prop your bed up a bit, but there are some lovely flat spots. The site is run by Clare who is very nice and very helpful.
We were there for a 5 nights. Nice a.d quite campsite with a good view and very clean facilities. There was a guy who cleaned the toilet every time I was using them even at 10pm. Most of the pitches are on slopes. Everything would be fantastic till it came to charge our devices. There is no charging point. You can ask an owner to charge your devices once, but if you come again ,she won't be happy saying "this is the last time".that's why we left 2 days before we planned.
Nice site - good location and loos/ toilets/ washing up. Easy booking - prompt response. Fair price. Would be good to have charge points and info re footpaths ... Got caught trying to follow paths in both directions - barbed wire/electric fences/ overgrown... . Also women's showers need blinds .
We have all enjoyed staying at Higher Pentreath Campsite,the facilities were great and the views morning and night were awesome, five minute walk to the beach. Would highly recommend. Many thanks. Mark
Camping here for the next couple weeks always come here every year. They’ve done so much to improve the campsite over the years. Absolutely lovely place to be and beautiful views too. Would recommend to everyone
What a view if you have ehu. Over looking Praa sands, beautiful beach with lovely clear water. This is a very sloped site, you will need levellers if in a campervan. Showers are rather odd but for the size of the site they really need more. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer that are payable, take your own detergent.
Absolutely wonderful stay at this excellent campsite. Myself and my partner stayed here for two nights and could not fault it. We stayed in our campervan and loved how we could choose our own spot and weren't restricted in where we went and could choose the field we fancied, it was very chilled and relaxed. Lots of water taps around the site which was very helpful. The toilets and showers were always clean as well as the sink area which had plenty of hand wash which was great given the way life is at the moment. I also liked the hairdryers, haven't stayed at many campsites with this facility so this was a great addition. Had an excellent stay, gorgeous views to wake up to and only a 10 minute walk downhill to the beach which was just glorious. Highly recommend this campsite and feel like I stayed at a totally different campsite to the poor reviews on here as it was faultless - can't wait to be back.
We arrived home from our camping trip yesterday. We stayed for 4 nights and would definitely return in a flash! The facilities are kept nice and clean, beautiful views from all fields, fabulous atmosphere all round and just up from a stunning beach. Drinking water taps dotted around the fields, washing/drying/washing up facilities make it ideal for a longer stay. Would recommend
We stayed for 2 nights and loved it. A beautiful, quiet spot over looking Pree Sands. Facilities were very clean, I must admit the showers were not great, but the spot made up for that. Would highly recommend.
