Lovely friendly, helpful staff.nCanny menu - bit different to our 'normal' choices.nHowever wanted something light so plumbed for sausage breakfast bun although other food choices looked delicious. It was delicious and enough for us.nCake choices ? Mams Carrot and Walnut cake was really nice - my Cherry Bakewell Blondie was so cold which when too cold I think always restricts good flavour of food and sadly had no taste at all. I was disappointed .nGreat little pot of tea though.
Two items purchased to eat out. Cake was unfortunately a little dry, though icing was fantastic-make sure you brush your teeth afterwards as there must be a tonne of sugar in there!nnCookie was pretty good as well.nnOnly utilised take away so unsure about high chairs or baby changing.
Visited last week with my boyfriend and upon entering the staff were warm and welcoming and explained the process of ordering to us very well. We ordered the beef benny and the salmon royale, they were both absolutely delicious and so rich in flavour. We also ordered a pistachio milkshake and the milkybar one, both amazing but the pistachio one was by far the best, barely nutty and bitter as most pistachio flavoured things are, it was actually really sweet and so so tasty. And to finish we ordered the white bueno pancakes topped with extra bananas, because we ordered so much we didnt get to finish this but i took it home and gave to my little sister and she absolutely loved it. Will be visiting again soon hopefully my experience was amazing, i recommend to anyone who wants a sweet treat or a light brunch!!
We're visiting from Canada and have seen more unique items on the Love Lily menu compared to a lot North America cafés I've tried! Absolutely loved the iced cinnamon hun latte, they nailed the flavour yet kept a strong coffee - so delicious! I had the Dirty American which was a great portion size and a little of everything I fancied. My parents and fiancé enjoyed everything they ordered too. The aesthetic inside is super cute. Will definitely be back on my next visit to the UK.
My wife asked me to find somewhere nice to have breakfast on our way back home from an overnight wedding do.nI found Love Lily’s on Google maps, and it fitted the bill.nParking was easy, a matter of a hundred yards or so, and 60 pence per hour is brilliant.nThere is an outdoor seating area but it’s not covered, and it was raining. There was a small queue, but waited about 5 minutes and we were greeted and seated.nThe menu is quite varied, and the drink selection is great too.nWe ordered our Coffees while we searched for our food.nI’m dairy intolerance, and my needs were met with no problem, I did have to fill in a small questionnaire, presumably to cover them, but it’s no problem at all.nWe decided on the American Breakfast, a sort of traditional with pancakes. Pancakes are fine as the milk is cooked, I just can’t have raw dairynThe food turned up and looked amazing, really well presented.nMy only criticism was the potatoes were only just warm, everything else was hot.nThe service was really good, though we had to ask for cutlery once we got our food.nI would definitely come back, it’s a place where it’s a treat to go. It was spotlessly clean, friendly staff and the prices were what we expected.nThank you.nVisited again, different food this time, great service, great food and drink. Took our Granddaughter and although she’s only 1 1/2, she loved her dinosaur pancakes.
