Lovely young lady, very friendly and welcoming and brought our sweet over to us sitting in the window even cut it in half for me and my friend to share lovely little coffee shop. Not much room to sit in so a lot of walk ins to take out. The purple one hot chocolate was delicious!

This is a great place to come for decent coffee in the Sunderland area  The prices are good, for artisan style Coffee. The sweet treats on offer are excellent.  Staff are lovely and welcoming.  I generally love coming here.

GRINDER COFFEE  First time trying coffee, we got a snickers iced latte , snickers brownie and maple and pecan pie.  I'll be honest wasn't that good... coffee was too strong, tasted nothing like snickers no nuttiness or any hint of caramel or chocolate. The woman put snickers sauce in but that was it didn't taste like snickers. Nor did the brownie however the brownie was a decent texture just had nuts on top nothing special. The maple and pecan pie wasn't for me either ...  Service was lovely and the insta makes the coffees look divine but the product itself not so good.  The store itself very nicely decorated.

Really tasty coffee and staff are so friendly! Will definitely be coming back.

Amazing double macchiato - best of the week in fact. Love it that despite me not being able to get across as often I’d like, the staff remember who I am and what I do and are always keen to catch up. Great job guys

A great modern coffee shop ran by lovely people. Very happy to hear they are opening a second cafe in the centre of town. Highly recommended and il definitely be returning.  FYI Kinder bueno brownies are insane.
