It's a shame because it's a nice place. The staff a clearly not trained properly. The service is really slow. Basics like serving a soft drink took about 15 minutes which is ridiculous. Nice place but if you are after good service this is a place you should avoid.

My family of 5 adults and a 2 year old arranged to go to let there be crumbs as hard to meet as live in 3 different town's. After been seated and given menu's (which were slightly less appealing than the sample menu on the website) the order was taken for starters and mains and requested that the child's main was served with adults starters. We had all finished our starters when child's main was served and he had become upset as we were eating and he had nothing at this point we had not been asked if we wanted drinks. Table only half cleared before mains were served we had to ask for cutlery for our main as what had been on the table had been used for starters . Food OK but not very hot and soggy roast potatoes. Don't think we will be returning.

Just been for afternoon tea with my husband and 3 year old daughter. We ended up waiting so long my daughter was crying because she was hungry watching other guests being given their food after being seated half an hour after us. The 'sandwiches' were tiny and it is not worth the money nor the wait and we will not be attending again.

Afternoon tea was brilliant, really tasty cakes and sandwiches. They also have some optional gin which is distilled on site as a bonus.

Been there just the once, for good reason! Went for our lunch. Someone sat us at a table, didn't provide us with a menu and then we were ignored for the next 5 minutes. We got up and went elsewhere. 👎
