Excellent hot chocolate and cake on a cold dark winter's day. Staff are polite and helpful taking care of the both the bakery customers at the front and seated cafe customers behind the bakery. There is a risk that the staff can become busy both manning the shop front and the cafe area. The decor has not been modernised to twenty - first century. This is part of its charm and character. It does what it does rather well and has stood the test of time. People can recall visits when they were kids a generation or two back. Worth a visit.

Cosy cafe on a bitterly cold beast of the east type day😁 . Had beautiful spinach quiche with tasty sour cream and pesto type sauce. Lovely waitresses. Absolutely first class fayre and ambience.

Unchanged and fabulous. Something of a hampstead institution it hasn't changed in the 40 or so years that I've been going. Great cakes, and the often overlooked savouries are good too. Be prepared to queue.

Very cozy tea room ambience. The food and the beverages are great, served in beautiful cups. If you are in a good mood you will appreciate the tackiness of the place for old styles sake, otherwise you d think it s decoration is of bad taste.
