Margot bakery produces fabulous sourdough bread and even more uniquely, sourdough viennnoisserie which as well as being something of a technical feat are to my knowledge unobtainable anywhere else in the country! The favours and weekly specials ensure that there is always something new to try on each visit. The passion and care that goes into all of their products is evident.  On an almost weekly basis we travel halfway across London to go to Margot Bakery which should say it all. Definitely worth a detour!

I live on the same street and couldn't believe my luck when the bakery opened in 2016. The sourdough is as good as anything in the East End and the coffee is the best in E Finch. Staff are really friendly and efficient and it has a few handy tables to sit at for breakfast or lunch. Great cakes too if you are in the mood for something sweet. All Margot's recipes are vegetarian.

I always look forward to being in the vicinity of this lovely bakery in East Finchley. The staff are always friendly & attentive and the baked goods & bread are just the best! I have often been know to go out of my way for a sneaky visit to pick up treats & have one of the best coffees around.

Absolutely incredible bakery!! I travelled almost an hour to get here from Hackney and it was 100% worth the journey! The rugelach were the best I have ever ever tasted (and I've tried a lot!) and the savoury pastries were super tasty too. Will not hesitate to make the journey again as I'm now desperate to try everything they bake! Anyone who hasn't given them a 5* review is quite frankly an idiot.

Amazing bread, different amazing pastries every day. It's my new favourite north London bakery! Shame they open late and close early because I cannot go on the way to or back from work. Oh well, it will remain a weekend treat.
