Booked in for Christmas dinner, shocking service and massively disorganised. Turned up early to be stood waiting with no direction, no one waiting to seat you or offer you a drink. Happy to take your money for a very mediocre lunch, they had us sat for an hour waiting for our dessert, asked several staff about this and no one helped, ended up leaving an hour after dinner finished with no dessert. I've had better service in McDonalds

Realy good beds were comfy and it was a very clean and good bedroom kids friendly my son enjoyed his stay we will be defo coming back worth the money and the staff were loverly and very friendly with kids and we are extremely happy about our stay it was the best hotel I have stayed in with us came all the way from NewcastleRooms: 5/5

Went to a wedding on 23 july staff were amazing buffet brilliant . Had my own reception there in 2002 service has not faltered well done rose and the ladies .Service: 5/5
Lovely spacious dining room. High ceilings, light and comfortable. We had Sunday carvery. There was the choice of 4 different joints plus, steak and dumplings and beef pie. We opted for the dumplings which were delicious. Great selection of veg and creamy/veg dishes, really nice. I have no complaints at all. The staff were lovely too.
Recommended this pub to friends travelling & staying overnight for a gig at Donny Rovers - all good thanks.Rooms: 5/5
SOME Staff quite rude last with blonde hair organising the wedding venue room, told to get out when entering, not asked nicely, was in a bad tone and manner. Bar staff swearing a lot. Very unprofessional I'm afraid... not a memorable day like it should have been! Don't expect to enter any establishment and be spoken to or treat like that....
