Amazing hidden gem in London! This is a must for history buffs. This wonderfully preserved Roman site is incredible and the story behind its' discovery and preservation is interesting and inspirational too. Definitely a site to give you 'goosebumps!'
Visited 1st thing in the morning, had the place to ourselves. Gorgeous display of art. The Roman Amphitheatre on the bottom floor is a must see.
An absolute gem of a find. Would never guess it's there. Hidden below the Guildhall and accessed via the art gallery. Both are free to access and have a great atmosphere and ambience. You can almost smell the history and open up your imagination to the historical events that took place there 2000 years ago.
Great little know Roman amphitheater. Do this the Mithraenium and museum of London to compete your Roman London trip.
Wow...amazing place to visit. It was exciting to be in the same place gladiators stood all this years ago. If you are into history a must go place to visit. Plus the art gallery of historic London. Great.
Wow what can I say about this place apart from amazing. Not only is it free to get into the Amphitheater, the building and remains are excellent. If you are in the area, please do pop in and see for yourself
Very fascinating! The lights and light projections add great value to the amphitheatre ruins. As an archaeologist, I really appreciated also the display of the underground draining system...well done indeed!
