Beautiful functional hall for my baby cousins hen party aka bridal shower. Kitchen is so spacious and has all gadgets any event could require . Private event so unfortunately couldn't share pictures.
Had our baby shower here back in April 2023. The staff were fantastic especially Goknil, who made for a smooth booking and provided all information needed. The venue was clean and accessible for all guests. We’ll be doing our son’s birthday here going forward.
5 star from our film production crew who had the pleasure of working at Haggerston Community Service for a day. The space was incredible and great options for the screen to help us tell our short film story. We dealt with Goknil, who was fantastic. Very helpful, and accommodating. The site was very clean, and everything ran very smoothly on the day. Can very much recommend this space!
I love this place as the staff especially Goknil is so friendly and helpful. I rented a space to do some beauty treatments for the day and the location is great and venue very clean. Iv seen some bad reviews on here about staff which I don’t agree with as my experience was very pleasant. I thank the Haggerston team who provided professionalism for my booking to go very smoothly and will hopefully see them again for future events.
We booked this venue for our son’s birthday party. It’s located 2 minutes walk from Haggerston station- very conveniently placed for guests to travel to. The main hall is large and very well lit with floor to ceiling windows. There is access to a large patio via two shuttered doors at the rear. There is access to a large kitchen for the heating of food. Ladies and men’s toilets with a separate accessible toilet alongside a baby hanging station. There is a well stocked cupboard of long tables and chairs. The sound system is also very user friendly and connects via a simple aux cable, we used our own device. The venue is clean and well kept, and fantastic for large gatherings. The admin and security team were very friendly, responded promptly to any email queries and accommodating to our needs. Highly recommend Haggerston Community Centre!
Really good and functional space for medium sized events. HOWEVER, the customer service is awful. Dealt with a lady called Goknil who is the absolute worst. No professionalism, no communication skills, no problem solving skills and not able to stick to the same story in different conversations. Would ideally avoid ever using the space again just because of her.
The hall is a beautiful maintain hall which is professionally managed. Goknil is warm and professional and helped to make my daughter's birthday a great celebration. Thank you
Went there for an islamic charity event hosted by Hilal. Amazing place to be. Clean + spacious. Tricky part is finding the actual centre on Google Maps as it doesn’t state where exactly it is, you may have to ask locals.
Nice venue but staff didn't bother to open up the storage so couldn't get at the tables and chairs. Venue is not staffed on the weekend and security contactable on the emergency number were unable to help or unwilling not sure which. Managed to convince security to open up at last minute. There seems to be no contingency plan for when things go wrong. Nearly messed up my son's birthday party.
The worst service ever. Goknil is a horrible woman, extremely rude to deal with and unpleasant don't book with them. The hall was left dirty and the bins were overflowing. the toilets were a mess and guests were not able to use it.
