Went in this evening for a few pints and it’s been fabulous also more than a few pints!. The lady behind the bar was very informative and chatty - very helpful especially for people like us who have no idea about beer! The music was great too. Loved the atmosphere. Will definitely be returning soon!
Lovely pub with friendly staff, nice drinks and the option of Yard Sale Pizza from next door. Beth is lovely, friendly and personable. 5/5
Had been meaning to check out this place for a while, they have about 5 kegs going as well as ales and mostly fruity cans. No food available when we went however you can order pizza to be delivered.
Great beer with well-looked after beer lines. You won't regret it. And the allow you to eat pizza fron next door too.
Nice evening here. Good atmosphere. Great selection of cask and keg ales. All well kept and tasty. However, this would have been 5 stars but for the price. Cask ale is ok. But £6.60 for a pint of keg! Come on. This is Crofton Park, not central London! That aside, still worth a visit. And the pizzas look lovely.
Great place. Very good selection of beer! No actual bar but it wasn't a problem. Outside area and clean toilets!
We popped in on a Thursday afternoon. I think we caught the employee on an off day, as he had a cold. He was friendly enough, but even though I mentioned it was our first time, he didn't offer to make any recommendations, which I would have liked. I had a Blueberry and Vanilla stout and my boyfriend had a Southey Ale of some sort. Both were lovely and something we hadn't tried before. I think some better music rather than washed out acoustic covers of bad pop songs would have been well received. My boyfriend and I love so many different genres, but something more appealing definitely could have been played. We will probably be back, but wouldn't go out of our way to go there especially.
This is a South East London gem. A place for beer enthusiasts that also makes good pub food. Try the nachos and you won’t be disappointed. I also love how they have chilli in many dishes! Staff is very welcoming and they welcome dogs too. What’s not to like?
A very nice little pub - my local - with a very good selection of beers, a real comfort food menu delicious burgers, wings, sausage rolls etc. The staff are very friendly and the whole place has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. If it looks full, still pop in as there's more seating at the back down the little corridor.
It's a great little place with some good beers and cheery service but the lighting is awful, it's like a prison yard where the alarm has been set off, it's so bright and cold it ruins the atmosphere. But it's nice but could be so much better with just a little tweak.
