London Backpackers was a fantastic choice for my trip! The staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The hostel has a cozy atmosphere, and the currency-decorated wall added a unique touch. My room was clean and comfortable, and the location was super convenient for exploring the city. I loved the welcoming vibe and the chance to meet other travelers. Highly recommend!
Good place to stay. I spent a week and enjoy being there. Nelly is a very nice person. I randomly came across her in the kitchen and some minutes later we were discussing like old friends. If you have any question she is happy to help. For some other members however it took me some days before knowing they are actually working there. We all stayed in the common room and when you’re new, they don’t offer to help or guide or anything. So unless you find them at the reception or see them wearing their badge you might think they are travellers like you. When I went to kitchen for the first time, another traveller was explaining me while some of them were there. But overall a good place and I’ll definitely go back.
I had a great experience in this hostel ! Clean rooms, good accommodations, underground station 20 meters away, and a set of great games to play. I wish I could give an extra star just for Nelly at the reception ! I'd definitely come again next time I'm visiting London.Rooms: 5/5
The bunk bed is bigger although the pillow is slightly thin, there are plenty of plugs and cables on your bed. The room and the shower are clean. There’s no shower gel/shampoo in the shower so be sure to pack them. They’re very helpful and generous, they allow you to store your stuff without paying, and for you to hang out for a while although you’ve checked out. There’s free breakfast on Sunday. You can also use microwave or the shared kitchen. It takes 30seconds to arrive to the hostel from Hendon Central. And different kind of shops within the vicinity. It sits on the northern line tube so, the central London is easily accessible without having to change your line. Overall a comfortable hostel stay. Thank you!
I loved my stay here! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The girls bathroom was cleaned regularly, the rooms were clean as well with privacy curtains and loads of mirrors to check yourself out in ; Location was perfect as it’s right next to the northern line.Rooms: 5/5
Every time I come to London I stay here. It's a perfect hostel for a little trip, comfortable, clean, I love the bathrooms, and it has a kitchen and a little cozy common space. Staff is very nice too. It's just beside the Hendon Central tube station, so even if you are not in the very middle of the city, it's well connected and you can visit whatever you want.
First time at a hostel and it was a great experience! All the staff and other travelers were friendly, and the decoration of the building was fun and lively. The breakfast was simple but a great deal for just £3, and it was free for Sunday! Nelly at the reception was super helpful with recommendations for things to do around London. I was in the 12 person all female room, and the only critique I had for it was that the room was quite hot for sleeping, even with the windows open and fans on. But the beds were very comfortable, each equipped it’s privacy curtains, outlets, reading light, and small shelf. Would definitely stay here again!
The staff was very helpful and friendly and the other people staying there were cool. Rooms and facilities were well kept and the showers have good water pressure. Location is great, the tube station is a 3 minute walk and there are restaurants and a 24h grocery store very close. Camden Town is just a couple stops away which has some really cool shopping and street vendors and good night life. I definitely recommend staying here.
My friend and I stayed here for three nights, and had a wonderful time! The environment is great for making friends from different backgrounds and the hostel hosted several events for specifically that purpose, as well as occasionally free meals! The individual spaces in the dorms are small, as was expected, but relatively comfortable with a privacy curtain, and the check in/check out process was super easy. The staff was very friendly as well!
It's been a very nice experience. The staff are extremely friendly, the place was nice and clean and they provided breakfast for £3 and dinner for newcomers. The shared rooms and quite nice, although they can get a tad smelly and noisy snores, etc. All in all good experience, would love to come back. Rooms: Spacious. Beds are comfortable. There are people who make sleeping difficult cause of the snoring and some people seems to not have showered much cause it smelled. Safety: Felt fairly safe. Walkability: You can access the tube station and the bus stops quite easily. There are shops within walking distance if you need groceries.
