Absolutely wonderful stay, I'm usually a town kinda girl. But we chose to stay here for a local wedding for something a bit different and it was so lovely. Beautiful countryside, warm and comfy rooms, the couple who run it are ever so lovely and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was fantastic. I highly recommend staying here.
Beautiful locations for a Tipi wedding. On site stunning accommodation and a secrete garden, offer something special to any outside wedding. Liz is a amazing at her job and will go over and beyond, making your day seamless... We cant wait to set up again this year!! x
Stunning location and property, we had a warm welcome from the lovely couple who run it. The breakfasts were amazing and they really went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. Clean comfy rooms and lovely bathroom we opted for the private bathroom they even gave us a lift to the wedding we were attending that day. Overall a lovely peaceful experience.
I would give 6 stars if that were possible! We booked the standalone apartment and it was excellent. The hosts Carol and Bob made us feel most welcome and our son had a fantastic time especially with the local animals around.Rooms: 5/5

We booked our wedding there for 11july 2020 But had to cancel due to mental health issues, we gave them more than 1 years notice but the still did not return any of our deposits. So be careful not to suffer any mental health issues and expect any to be treated with any form of compassion. Beautiful place tho. !
Where to begin?! We got married here in September 2018 and it was the most perfect venue. We had full use of the house and grounds the night before and the night-of the wedding. We even had a full English breakfast on the Saturday and Sunday morning. In the lead up to the wedding, Maria and her team were so supportive, professional and accommodating to our ideas and ensured the day was everything we dreamed of! We cannot recommend this venue enough. If you want something beautifully low-key, yet breathtaking, Lodge Farm is your venue and Maria is your woman!
Absolutely unfriendly host who happened to invent a new rule on the spot not communicated before, leading to our non-admission, but obliging us to pay. He wasn't even aware of the regulations, of his obligations, but ruthlessly insisted on his false belief.
If you’re looking for the perfect venue to create your own wedding then look no further! From the first time we drove through the gate we both knew we wanted to have our reception at Lodge Farm. It is a peaceful, intimate and deceptively large venue. The kids loved playing in the garden and so did the adults! The views are stunning, the terrace is pristine and the house is beautiful. And we’re only talking about the outside. Inside, the rooms are well appointed, each decorated sympathetically and with a warmth and charm that Maria herself exhibits in abundance. Maria is a delightful, welcoming and magnanimous host. We both felt that she had genuinely invested in making our day the best one of our lives so far. She was always on hand during the lead up to the wedding and also last minute for the inevitable bits and pieces. Nothing was too much trouble. Also, breakfast is awesome! If you thought that Lodge Farm looks beautiful during the day, rest assured that you will be amazed come the evening! Our guests could not fault the setting, the service and the welcome they received. Laura event manager who works with Maria works tirelessly to ensure that the day runs seamlessly. Her calm manner, good humour and practicality mean you can put your complete trust in her to give you the wedding that you asked for. We cannot recommend Lodge Farm highly enough and we will hold it in our hearts always. 5 stars without a doubt. There are not enough superlatives!! Stayed in the apartment at the top of the house. It was perfect. Very spacious, clean and welcoming house. Good choice of breakfast included. My 16 month old child also liked meeting the horses in the stables. We shall be using this place for future Hertfordshire visits.
