Had a family celebration meal Sunday 2nd FebnWe have stayed in the past and had meals there.nNo problem very enjoyable.nHowever when we arrive for the meal,ordered when it arrived we had to ask for cutlery,the meal seemed to have been in the oven too long the few vegetables supplied were dry, tasteless but helped by the extra gravynWould think seriously about returning,a great shamenThe positive was the servers, young, helpful and cheerful.
We had the Sunday lunch it was cold soggy and tasteless the waitress was lovelynWe had to sit by the main entrance it was freezing as the door was constantly being opened it was busy but any customer should not have to sit there.nMy bill for my food was taken off because of the cold .nSunday lunch is such a treat when you don’t have to cook it but was very disappointed and expensive.nnThe staff were lovely
Thank you all so much for making our wedding day special. Considering we only contacted you a few days beforehand, you stored our cake, found us a space for a couple of hours before we moved on to the next venue. The room was beautiful. Thank you again and we will be back!
A traditional hotel in Hertford town centre. The rooms are well equipped with old fashioned furnishings but they are spacious, stylish and comfortable. There is no lift. Good breakfast. Parking available at rear. Rooms on the main street could be noisy on weekend evenings, but there are others which should be quiet. Bit pricey, but would be a good choice for a special occasion.
Such a lovely little room! You can really tell they’ve put a lot of thought into making guests feel cozy and at home. The decor is beautiful, and the little touches like the quality towels, soaps, and a great selection of tea and coffee really stand out. It honestly felt like being in a comfy room in my own house.
