We enjoyed our visit. The food was fresh and tasted great. We had oysters that tasted fresh and reasonably priced. Our starter was squid, which also tasted excellent. Mixed grill for main and haddock. The haddock is fresh and tasty. The scallops on the mixed grill were the best we had. The drinks menu is extensive, with plenty of wine and beer on tap. My only suggestion is draught Cola etc. Overall nice place with good service and food.
Gorgeous meal in the most stunning location. Food was fresh, service was great & lovely modern restaurant. Our waiter sorry can’t remember his name but he was fantastic, recommended great dishes, extremely friendly and all round genuinely nice guy! The prawns and squid to start where incredible, mains where delicious & the truffle cake OMG! Amazing! Thanks for a great experience!
An enjoyable Sunday lunch with a stunning view of the marina and excellent service. Everything was great with delicious food, friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. The sticky toffee pudding was absolutely lip smacking and a must-try dessert.
Thank you Emily and Andy for this unforgettable experience. Seafood grill mix was really tasty! Then I got recommendation for a cheescake, and I must say it was one of the best ones that I ever had. Service 10/10 Foods 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10. I will definitely come back.
Tasty food, very friendly staff. I couldn't decide what to have but a special shout out to our waiter the lovely Jason who helped by recommending the Meagre Fillet. It was delicious .I also enjoyed his quirky sense of humour and cheeky smile Even my 'dour auld fart ' of a husband laughed out loud which trust me is no mean feat at his comments. He also enjoyed his smoked haddock dish. Both had main course only and clean plates all-round. Definitely will be back. A thoroughly enjoyable experience
Winter evening, 3 people, restaurant was not full. We booked our table, arrived and seated. Menus presented, the specials board was close to our table, but the waiter did not offer to us. The website says the restaurant caters for gluten free. I ordered a soup and asked for gluten free bread, the waiter was lost about it. I also asked to make sure my fish to be prepared gluten free. The waiter did not offer a gluten free menu. The letters on the drinks menu are so small that I need a magnifier to read, same for the dessert menu. Ordered two starters, olives came first, then the soups... And the bread took a long time, we had to prompt other waiter for the bread. Ordered two mocktails, one was wrong, and the waiter tried to convince us to try... so they would not need to make the correct one. The food was OK, although my expectation was higher.
Clean, nice, open space right on the small Marina. Great viewpoints and an extensive menu. Enjoyed my lunch, half a pint of beer, and very reasonable prices. Worth stopping by and relaxing for a bit and smelling the ocean fresh air.
Great seafood restaurant with lovely food. Prawn starter was tasty, and the min course fish was cooked to perfection! Finished off with a yum chocolate dessert.
We had a lovely dinner at Loch Fyne Edinburgh. As we asked for a table next to the windows to admire the beautiful sunset on the Forth it was stunning we waited with two glasses of Prosecco in the bar area. The restaurant was really busy and the staff and the atmosphere was just so nice and from the kitchen it was coming a pleasant smell! We ordered 2 starters and 2 mains. The food was so delicious and really tasty. The fish was fresh and local. The Scottish scallops were so tendere and the grilled Scottish salmon was 10/10. We are Italian and pur expectations were so high, however it was a pleasure dining at Loch Fyne. We can’t wait to go back on a sunny day in the summer and dining on the terrace overlooking the wee harbour and the sunset! So romantic!
We visited this restaurant twice in a week. Food was very tasty, especially the veggy curry and the cheesecake. The linguine pasta was actually asian noodles with seafood and we did not enjoy it. Overall the place is really nice, staff is friendly and good prices.
