Very nice restaurant in the heart of Edinburgh. Doesn't just do fish - I had a fantastic pigeon starter as part of a recent meal there. Did also have fish too, the deluxe fish and chips with some deliciously-juicy prawns was very nice indeed. Not super-cheap, but you get what you pay for and the food and service were both great.
Lively restaurant specialises in local fish and seafood. Can get a bit noisy at peak times but this does not detract from the experience. Food is excellent and we'll presented by friendly staff. Great selection of wines to compliment the menu choices. A must go to destination but booking recommend.
Had the hot seafood platter; sadly lobster and langoustine could be fresher? Flesh was not firm. Chips that accompanied the meal was the best I had eaten for years. Crispy and done to perfection. Thanks to our waitress, Claire, who was so friendly and welcoming
Wow!! The best seafood I have tried in years. This is an upmarket establishment so you pay for quality food. Kaylan our waiter was on point the whole evening and we had a great time conversing with him. We'll worth a visit if you like seafood
Food was excellent. Service & staff spirited. We ordered the mussels, deluxe cod and prawn, and the cod from the set menu- all fresh and full of flavour. Great meal will return when back in this incredible city.
Fabulous seafood, enjoyed every dish including the desert, creme brûlée. The hot seafood platter was very tasty and one was good to share for 2. We tried the fish curry as well and enjoyed it very much. Great for family, couples, anyone.
