Really nice hostel, clean and equiped with all the amenities you would need. The only reason for docking a star is not for the hostel so much, but rather the surrounding area, there is a lack of shops, pubs and places to grab food from in the evening. It would have been nice if there was a vending machine or something for coffee/tea/milk sachets. Other than that, a really comfortable stay!

Hostel rooms were very unhomily feeling, very noisy from the other rooms and you could hear other guests shouting until 2am. There wasnt any staff member around so I had to call them at 1am and it took them almost half an hour to arrive. And price was way too much for a hostel at this level. Avoid.

This was a good place clean and space. It is well kept and a kitchen which you can use and a pub across the road

We were the only ones here for the two nights that we stayed. The facilities are excellent, and there is great wifi coverage throughout the building. The kitchen is well equipped with a TV. I am docking a star, because when we first arrived the heating had not been on, and it took a while for the room to warm up. Having spent the morning on Snowdon, (with ice on the top) we would have appreciated the place more if it had been a bit warmer to allow us to recover. We did not try the local facilities in Trawsfynedd, but can recommend the trip to Harlech where we ate at As.Is Bistro.
