I've always found the staff helpful and friendly. Just been in the bank and I definitely didn't like the new refurbished. It doesn't feel like a bank. The condition for the front of house staff seems uncomfortable,lacks privacy for staff and customers. I could easily overhear there conversation. It's appalling that banks have decided to ignore there client base . Do we need banks or should after years of them saying Trust us we are here for you keep OUR money somewhere else bank of Dave or home or other investment places. Banks need to look after us your back bone and foundation
My wife and I both made an appointment to open a joint account, but when we arrived at the branch the appointment had mysteriously been cancelled despite 3 members of staff agreeing we had made it. No offer was made to honour our appointment, just "book again" . We both work through the week so this is massively inconvenient. Absolutely terrible customer service from the branch, the manager should be ashamed

Absolutely appalled my 78 year old mum took herself to town despite our efforts to keep her home her memory doesn’t allow her to understand fully was told that staff couldn’t pay her cheque in for her then refused to help her use the pay in machine because they may catch Covid19! Seriously educate your staff! Social distancing measures could easily have been maintained! They would be at more risk in Supermarkets! Absolutely disgusting!!
Despite the slow moving and unholy queues, I can pick up change for work here without it being much hassle. The deposit machine conked out on me once but my notes get rejected because they always have folds on them so it's a fault on my part. Just occupy yourself with a book or something when you're in the queue because they are long.

Typical big bank...for me it's a case of going in on a Saturday getting my money and leaving as quick as possible....never enough staff on duty...they showed me the new way to put a cheque into my account..the only problem was they put it in the wrong account...another annoying thing is when you finally get to a cash machine....it pays out all in £10 notes have they no £20 notes it is supposed to be a bank...Micky Mouse
Staff always trying to make you use machines instead of dealing with people personally, website says open I know its Bank Holiday but isn't. It is easy to alter your hours to CLOSED.
Since being homebound through ill health, online banking here has been impossible however am able to bank online elsewhere! Curious
Arrived approx 16:45 to be told they were actually closed, as it was not 5pm I contested this. But was told unfortunatley the cashier counters close at 16:30. Not acceptable.
