3 people working on 1 customer and 6 people waiting in queue they don't bother.
Needed some documents for an application and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. 10/10 would bank here again
Popped some money into the atm deposit machine inside the branch. It apparently rejected all my bank notes and returned them to me. I used another machine which showed I was missing £100. Informed staff who proceeded to "check" the first machine and found no fault. They tried blaming me and questioned whether I really had the figure of money I claimed to have. I felt embarrassed but challenged their assertions. Another check was carried out and walla £100 appeared. They didn't have the decency to apologise and one member of staff joked that she should keep £20 as a finders fee wearing flip flops whilst saying this. I'm not one to complain given the current situation, very grateful the banks are open but this just isn't right. If an elderly pensioner had gone into branch and been given the same service I had they would be £100 or more out of pocket.
The waiting area is really spacious and relaxed. I brought my baby in to open an Help to Buy ISA. I was told the appointment was 60mins and it actually was. Watched videos and went through legal stuff to fill the whole time. If you can help it don't take your baby... The bank staff member was a star while my baby screamed over her reading out the legal stuff and with Sesame Street on load while calling HQ to finalise everything. Stairs to get into the bank so if you have mobility issues you might want to visit another branch. Only 4-5 steps though.
On 2 occasions I have visited the bank recently and both times been questioned as to why I’m not wearing a mask and felt unwelcome due to not wearing a mask. I have 2 lung conditions... please respect people who have invisible illnesses...
Very nice bank, staff are lovely and there are plenty of room and facilities
Worst banking experience ever! They’ve taken the business account desk away... long queues. Staff don’t know what a pin century is. No one knows when blue banking bags will arrive back in branch. Staff messing about and inexperienced. Always lacking staff! Staff not friendly or helpful.
Strongly recommend for international students seamless experience and easy to use
Terrible experience with lloyds and the services provided. Account now being closed
