31 Dec 2025. Used Asda car park today. Rear car park stairs are filthier than ever, as is the smell!!! Surely Asda management must realise how this reflects on the store itself and turn customers off?nnFinally had enough of filthy car park and stairwells, poor shelf labelling, unstocked shelves...so I have switched to Tesco Warndon.nn6 June 2025. Stairwells already getting dirty again, not swept, stinking of piss.nnMay 2025 Stairwells have now been blitz-cleaned, but the cleaner told me that they are only done twice per year. Not enough! Also the lower ground floor is still full of crap which causes a smell to come up to the upper floors.nnFeb 2025 ASDA MANAGEMENT - are you proud of your carpark stairwells?
We've been shopping here since it opened. Went seriously downhill during COVID with too many staff being very rude and having mini breakdowns throwing tantrums. Cooled down somewhat now of course but the biggest problem were and still are are the security staff looking out for only shoplifters. They allow certain people to bring in their electric bikes and scooters even wheeling them around the store but discriminate against others whose faces don't fit just trying not to get their cycles nicked/vandalized by the ferals roaming outside constantly drunk and begging. Store is in a war zone. Avoid if possible.
Awful place, just got back from shopping and looked at the receipt. Bought a tub of quality street that was advertised at £2:98 and got charged £4:52. I phoned customer service and explained what had happened. She told me that the system hasn't been updated. Why the hell are they advertising it cheaper then? Unbelievable, typical asda, been ripped off so many times like this down the years by them. She asked me when I'll be back in and told her never. I implore everyone not to shop here. I see why asda is going to be the first big supermarket chain to collapse. I can't wait, I will smoke a cigar and do a irish jig when they go into administration. Vile place. Advertising cheaper prices and the poor customer pays full whack before they realise. Vile company.
Unfortunately, the store's staff is very unprofessional. While I was making purchases, my disabled son wanted to use the toilet . The employees were unwilling to help, each person referring us to a different person. Eventually, we ended up at the security desk, where the lady looked at us with contempt and ignored us. After 20 minutes, we were told the key was lost and had to be returned without assistance. I will never come back.
terrible customer service, one lady with short blonde hair and glasses working on the self checkouts was incredibly rude. My checkout light had turned red signalling i needed help, she SAW me and turned away so i waved to try and get her attention. She then very rudely said “don’t wave at me, that’s what the light is for” and after seeing the look on my face she said “oh i say that to everyone” and try to laugh it off. If that’s not enough she goes on to huff and puff and say “what am i even checking” when i all i had was two items and one was an energy drink. Ridiculous.
