As a newcomer, I found Liverpool Lime Street Station to be a great introduction to the city. The station is in a very convenient central location, making it easy to get around Liverpool right after arriving.nThe building itself is impressive, with a nice mix of historic character and modern facilities. There are plenty of shops and cafés, which is helpful if you’re waiting for a train. I also found the signage clear and easy to follow.
An impressive and historic railway station with plenty of character. The architecture blends classic features with modern facilities, creating a welcoming gateway to the city. Busy, well maintained, and conveniently located, it’s a great starting point for exploring Liverpool
We loved our stop over at Liverpool and this train station Liverpool lime street has several entrances plus connecting you to local trains and to the city aswell plus there is a service desk for help if you need any on your travel a mean everyone needs help we did are is that just us so my absolute favourite place is the architecture of this building its not a newcastle central station but comes in a close second a beautiful building and train station can't be to happy a loved it so exit the side to london road and exit in front st georges hall and there's a side exit towards Frensham street parking quite difficult outside so thete is a taxi rank hope you enjoyed it as much as we did
Great, grand railway station. Didn't spend too much time here, but it was a very nice place to be in. It's great that the London-bound trains arrive so close to the exit.
Like most major railway stations, Liverpool Lime Street is very busy, especially at peak times. The station itself is impressive, with a beautiful exterior that really stands out and gives a great first impression.nnUnfortunately, my return journey got off to a slightly confusing start when a member of staff directed me to the wrong train. Thankfully, I realised before it departed, got off, asked again, and another member of staff quickly pointed me in the right direction, so it was only a minor hiccup.nnMy biggest disappointment was the toilets, which were in a poor state and noticeably less clean than I would have expected from such a busy mainline station.nnOverall, it's an impressive station with plenty of character, but clearer guidance and better-maintained facilities would make the experience much better.
