Though it is often very busy, especially during the week always manage to find a space. Recently we were enduring a long time staying each day at the hospital and have to say the guys running the car park office all couldn't be more friendly and truly we're so helpful with ensuring we could gain a monthly parking ticket, which made things so much easier. Even with the roadworks outside the carpark they are there guiding people out to ease the traffic flow. Well done guys and thank you.
Not a bad car park. Bit tight on the ramps so be careful. Lots of spaces hi up but watch the ramps.
Absolutely horrid car park! not only incredibly overpriced but the layout is terrible for any car bigger than a Fiat 500. Spaces are incredibly tight and the turning circles/lack of room to manoeuvre especially when having to go up each level is shocking. I'd advise not to park in spaces directly infront of the level ramps to avoid your car being hit as even if you are a good driver, it is easily an accident waiting to happen. The levels have metal railings and clearly show how ridiculously tight the ramps are as they have all been scuffed including the walls nearby. Alternative parking is outside the hospital with pay and display and is slightly cheaper however it's very rare you'll find a free space and the traffic wardens are the most active here which I wouldn't advise on entertaining. Best bet is to try and get someone to drop you off and pick up to avoid. One star rated for location as it is onsite and can come straight into the hospital foyer.
The worst car park I have come across. Turnings really tight - spaces really tight - way markings unclear - you will be lucky to get out without damaging your car.
One of the worst car parks built!!. Ramps are steep woth impossible corners on every turn! The price is a joke and the whole blue badge thing is nightmare. Honestly would avoid all cost! Thank you for the gent inbthe parking office who helped me understand the disabled system.
Too busy and WAY too expensive. Taking advantage of sick people and their visitors. Not well managed with a 1-way system. So when you leave, it's one-way out, onto a busy road.
Be sure you leave plenty of time to park. It was very busy on Monday and had to follow a lot of cars up to level 7 where as I had a small car I squeezed into a narrow space
This has to be the car park with the tightest corners and smallest spaces. I personally don't agree with paying to use a hospital car park
First visit I got confused with the entrance system. It reads your registration and you don't need a ticket but there is a ticket machine as you enter through the barrier. I took a ticket. As I did, the barrier raised and lowered then raised again. I didnt think too much of it at the time. I parked and visited the hospital. When I came out, I paid for my parking with the ticket. Trouble came when I went to leave. The barrier wasn't letting me out. It was all resolved quickly with the attendant who let me out. Because I took a ticket and they scanned my registration the system registered me as visiting twice and because I paid by ticket and not registration, it assumed I hadn't paid for the second visit. I guess my advice is don't take a ticket if the barrier is going up and avoid a lot of trouble. Also watch the turns on the ramps, it's very tight on the turns.
The usual hospital prices but if you end up leaving your car in there for days on end, surprisingly the price doesn't get higher, so not as bad as some hospital parking
