I’ve had consistent issues with the reception staff at this GP practice. If you try calling around 12 PM it seems like the entire staff is on lunch at the same time, which is frustrating because for many working people, that’s the only time to call and book an appointment. It’s ironic that they advise patients on what’s best for them, yet don’t seem to consider the convenience of the people trying to reach them. Improving accessibility and better planning would make a big difference.
The receptionist at this surgery has no business working in a role that involves dealing with people. Every time you call, you’re met with rudeness and attitude—it’s beyond frustrating. If you’re reading this, I hope you take these reviews seriously and do something about it. Honestly, find a job that doesn’t require basic human interaction, because you’re clearly awful at it.nnThis surgery is overcrowded and it shows. They can’t get you an appointment, but they have no problem raking in money for an endless list of patients they can’t even handle. If you’re considering using this GP, do yourself a favour and look elsewhere. Even if you manage to get seen, don’t expect any care or attention to your issues—they just want you in and out as quickly as possible.
Absolute joke of a surgery - unhelpful and unkind staff. Everything seems to be a battle, despite the pay that the GP's get it seems that they are unable to help with anything and everything is pawned off to another person making the process for even a simple referral take years.nnPutting in official complaints does nothing because it's just handled internally and the results are always biased.
If I could give 0, I would. Some of the doctors are really proficient, but the Reception staff are rude and have no people skills or knowledge to understand the patients. However, they would like to think that they are the doctors who could make decisions for the patients. Its pathetic!
Failed/refused to issue much needed medication. Told to go to the pharmacy to get an alternative. Yet I have already tried the alternative medication & already discussed with a Doctor that it was ineffective. The medication that I was requesting had already been prescribed only two months ago. Therefore, I was requesting it again on a repeat prescription.nWhen I asked for a reason as to why I could not be issued with the medication that I need, I was not given a reason & told to get the ineffective alternative suggested. I also had to resort to explaining that I know what works for my body & what does not.nI now have to go through the lengthy & unnecessary process of requesting the medication that I need via NHS 111. Which could have been sorted out via the surgery in the first place.nThere is no need whatsoever for all this complication, stress & difficulty.nnReception staff can be rather rude for no reason whatsoever which is unsettling. Not all are that way but some can be that way causing one to not want to contact the surgery. It's very off putting.
