Called in for coffee and bite to eat as passing through . We ordered sandwiches from menu. Husband had the BLT. Says best he's had. Staff friendly. Comfortable surroundings. Comfy sofas. Would definitely visit again.
I've been for a few quiet afternoons with a book and a few breakfasts with friends. Lovely service, amazing coffee and you MUST try the sausage, ehgg and cheese breakfast bagel. pleased to have somewhere chilled that caters for gluten free-ness too
I go here whenever I can for a treat. They have a great breakfast menu, I've tried everything, from the pancakes with various toppings to poached eggs on a cheese scone. Lovely staff who do their best to please.
One of my fave places in Stokesley, both for me and my wife. Food is delicious and plenty of tasty drink options. We've tried scones, pancakes, sarnies, cakes, toasties, juice, coffees and green teas. All excellent. Friendly staff, tho not always the quickest service due to this place always being so busy. Warm with Wi-Fi and plenty of seating options. The penny table tops are cool too...
Food was pretty good, however the majority of the staff seemed to be either inexperienced, new or just having a grumpy/flustered day. It didn't impact our the quality or speed of the food and drinks we received, just would have been nicer to have had a warmer welcome, order taken and farewell.
A lovely cafe. Good coffee. I had a warm cheese scone. It was delicious. They have a very interesting selection on the menu. Will have to go back and try some other options.
The food was really good, but the young man that served us really did not want to be there, his attitude was more than sufficient to tell us that. When I telephoned later to see if my husband had left his glasses there the young man was very short with me, shouting his reply down the phone, so that my husband could hear it from another room. Would I go again? If that young man was not there.
Last October I moved to Stokesley and finally found a good bakery! But this summer it also changed into café. Since than the varied bread supply changed drastically and my favourite fochaccio was hardly supplied unfortunately. That’s ashame and a pity. I don’t know who’s fault that is but it’s not client friendly. Maybe in the New Year it will get better.....?.
A brief stop off in Stokesley for a coffee and found Lincolns. It looks small on the outside but goes back a long way, so don't be put off if it looks busy through the window. Can't comment on available food as only had coffee and cake, but both were ok. Well used by locals when we were there so I imagine the menu is ok. Parking nearby as is the market.
Weird customer service. Waited ages for meal which didn't come. Others who arrived after us got served before us. Decided to leave and just pay for coffee. Manager was very dismissive instead of apologising. Won't be back
