Staff here are mostly nothing short of horrible. Almost all checkout staff are miserable if not outright just rude. Only time I dont dread paying for my items is when the person on the checkout is the white guy with dreads, the rest of them need to work on their customer service skills or find a job where the bare minimum isn't to be polite to customers
Shopping was fine, young girl at the till was a huge let down. Smiley and talking to everyone white/jewish and had the most miserable face serving me asian, makes it very obvious. Exactly the same feeling as the last person's review. Shouldn't be working at the till with such an attitude. She also missed scanning 2 items which weren't on the receipt.
Most weird and peculiar experience I’ve ever had when visiting a Lidl store. I was with my little boy and we are not of the Jewish religion and I understand this is quite a common store for Jewish in this area but the young girl behind the counter was extremely vocal and polite to other members in the queue and when me and my child got there she was completely mute, I’ve never ever experienced racism like it before. I felt so uncomfortable and explained to my child that’s what that was, never witnessed it firsthand and won’t ever be visiting that store ever again. As an employee you should greet everyone with the same attitude and respect, also she kept shouting about smelly cheese whilst serving customers which I found odd. It was just the silence when serving me and my child then before we even walked away “hi how are you” to the Jewish people behind us and was extremely polite to the ones who left infront.nnHorrible all round experience. No matter what race or religion everyone deserves the same respect.
Good store, plenty of parking and good staff. Plenty of choice in the store. Really difficult to get out of the car park back on to the main road.
Not been in a while, the smell of freshly cooked bread is amazing. Plenty of different items to buy on weekly specials as well.
