Cycled to Kingswood branch after Hanham being closed. Tills were rammed busy about 30 waiting at the self service tills and no longer a quick drop in shop . Plus, didn't have all I needed in stock! From memory Hundreds of jars of bolanaise/tomato sauce but no lasagne white sauce! Good supermarket with very competitively priced items, the bakery section is always well stocked up until after lunchtime, and the staff are always friendly and helpful
Whilst shopping today in Lidl I was approached by the security guard who damanded that I open my shopping trolly bag. I'd literally just got to the till with my groceries. I was so embarrassed as everyone was looking at me. I am not a thief and he really made me feel so small and totally humiliated in front of the whole store. It's made me feel like I don't want to shop there anymore in the future.
Not Lidl's fault but it took me longer to get out of the that a Genesis concert at Wembley in the 80's,thanks to the roadworks and temporary traffic lights at the junction of black horse hill and two mile hill.
