I recently had a fantastic shopping experience at Lidl in Lawrence Hill, Bristol. The store was well-organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful. What stood out to me the most was the ample parking space available, making my visit hassle-free. I highly recommend this Lidl location for its convenience and excellent service.
Me and my partner went there around 8pm as the shop only close at 10pm. We bought groceries which would last for 2 weeks or more, and tried to check out around 9pm. But, all the tills said they are closed except self service. I saw the staffs mopping and standing around in the shop seeing us with tons of things to check out but didn't offer to check out at the big tills. We had to check out by ourselves at small self service tills by separating items into 5 or more. It was so stressful and people were waiting to do their checkout behind us. It was a long queue, the shop was still so busy, and the employees decided to close their tills 1 hour or more before the closing time. It was a very bad experience. Imagine u have to check out ur 2 weeks groceries which is like a whole trolley in a small self service counter where there's not enough space to put everything at once like tesco self service countera. Lidl needs to make sure their employees close the big tills only half an hour before closing to be fair for the customers who have other things to do all day but have to do shopping at night.
They recently took down most of this building and re builded it.nTheir premises are brand new, with smart self checkouts, new Fridges etc…nnGreat shopping experience, still at a very low cost.nnDefinitely recommend!
Security are consistently very aggressive and disrespectful to homeless people outside the shop. I recently saw security physically shove a man totally unprovoked
Just like any other Lidl. Contains all the usual items you expect and those you need but are out of stock. There is a free car park for 90mins, however it is quite small. There is also two electric vehicle charge points.
