The bakery always looks like it's been ravaged by a plague of locusts! Having been there early a few mornings I can concur that the people that come in to the bakery early have zero manners whatsoever! Staff always happy to help and checkout staff always wish you a good day
What I thought was going to be a 5 minute shop ended up at 20 minutes. Got my tea bags and potatoes ok, but then there was only one checkout with a long queue. After a while another checkout opened and I was third. But then the front customer decided he wasn't going to let the cashier check his shopping bag. First a discussion with checkout, then security, and then the manager. Eventually something was agreed and we started moving again. Needless to say my bag was on the conveyor. The Earl Grey tea bags are excellent value at £1.19 for 50 though.
This Lidl store dunstable is very dirty staff especially this security guard because when I came out with my family after shopping, there was a donation box lying there. Yes, this is for special people, so I said, this is for donation, I can't take it, so he snatched it from my hand, so my request is to make a donation or something, if you take it from there. It has to be torn clothes, so what kind of people are these special people? Did it say on top of the box, very dirty staff and very third class. No ego here at all. I had a very bad experience with my family. It has happened and strict action should be taken against him, his management should think about it. I am very embarrassed in front of my family The security guard says yes, this is for special people. How will they be special people? Will their faces be black? Will their clothes be torn? Did you write on the top of the box what kind of special people they are when the donation is made? put in the box so it means if someone needs it he can take it so will someone take it from there then it means he got stolen class type experience with his family and very dirty experience mine this lidl Strict action should be taken against those who are in the store
First time having to ever leave a negative review in 10 years for this store but after today it’s clear that standards have dropped rapidly. I had a rude lady called Roshni shout at myself and my child for no reason while I asked security a question. Roshni then proceeded to load on about 16 glass jars worth of Greek olives that are usually for customers. Roshni was then rude to a lovely lady called Eksitha pardon the spelling who when asking if scanning 12 instead of 10 jars was okay was met with the reply “no they’re separate for a reason” in a very rude and sullen tone. Roshni had also held up a queue of about 8 people and honestly, this is not the first time she has been rude to myself and my family because last time Roshni proceeded to lecture me and be rude with me about my adhd and autistic child all because he was being a touch loud as they tend to do. The manager was sitting two tills away and didn’t correct Roshni’s bad tone towards her fellow employee which is a shock and horror. Well done to Eksitha again pardon the spelling for being professional, courteous and respectful the whole time. She upholds customer values and deserves a raise or promotion.

Friendly efficient staff. Packing areas fine if you have a trolley but if you have a basket it's high and not easy to pack your bag
First time visiting, car park can be quite hectic with vehicles going both directions in the afternoon time , there's no arrows or signs present. Inside store, the bakery looks very nice and brightly colored when you enter the store. Good selection of bakery products to choose from, enjoyed my Pizza and it's good prices per portion. Big store with many brand products to choose from. The labels and price signs should be better displayed as you've got to look for the prices yourself in some items. Recommend!
Very good bakery its a shame that not everybody uses the hygiene tongues
