Shopping experience is absolutely terrible. I have to admit, the store is clean and usually well stocked. However all of this effort gets wasted when you get to the till. They have SIX tills I believe but only ever use one or two at the push. It was always the case but today I decided enough is enough. I had a basket with probably less than 10 items in it, if I went to Tesco it would take me 2 mins max to be on my way out. In Lidl two tills were opened of which one was closing and I was refused to be served and asked to queue up at the other one where the queue was so long customers were confused where to wait. I’m not sure whether person closing the till had no eyes or was about to finish. Either way another till should be opened. This ended up in me acting quite rude - I’ve put the basked on the floor, left and I will not be coming back.

Perfect for town center shopping where you can enjoy best of both worlds..with a short walk you get local shops ...which is great to have..

Generally very cheap prices with good quality fresh produce and dry groceries. Pleasant staff and fast checkout

Great choice of food. Just shame only a limited date on the fresh produce. Friendly staff nice place to shop.
